hello.... i just thought you should know that i had rcm and cfw, the works all good on my switch till suddenly i noticed the right joycan was acting wierd... hd rumble was gong off as if i was walking over a pwermoon in mario odddesy verry faint but i thout no biggie...." but i want even playing mario i was just on the homescreen of the switch
then 2 player mode in odessy was verry hard to initiaite after syncing both joycons in 2 player mode it would get stuck on the add controller screen..... so i removed all files from sd card and thought maybe cause now the right joyconm wont even make a snap noise when i connect it i can just reinstall the os and all will be fine... no such luck.... at least b4 i did that the controller was still synced to the os so if i wanted to go to the change grip a whole lot more than i needed to i couldve just to get fba to use both cons at the same time in congrip wich also started to fail and all i got in that emaulator after a bit was 1 1 and 2 con player setup by default that i couldnt change..... <--- this was my main reson for rdoing the whole system as i can paly my games again i gould give a c rap about saves as the 2 main games i have are physical copies of sonic forces and mario odessy bottom line... i need a way to bypass the initialize setup to just goto the menue or at least get me past the joycon syc screen if you can help me past this i am willing to part with a lifetime launchbox premium license for anmy true gamer out ther that has a pc this is a must btw i have no pro controller to use as i thought this might work via usb to dock i am hoping there is another way oh and i also have no bt usb dongle for pc atm

you will need a Y scredriver. But it may not be your joycon if you did not mod it it may be the switch or it may not be may be a bad right joycon. No one will really know untell we can get more info from you.

plug your switch to the charger not docked just the carger and then click your right joycon on and then go too controllers and see if they are charging if they were full charge then take them both off then pop them back on and then they should show charging if they do then your joycons are fine or at lest its charging.

I would not remove the rail because the last thing you would want to do is damage it and they are really easy to.

post a pic i would like to see it if your able to just for the hell of it... but if its saying that then you need to update then. it does not hurt because all fw's are hackable anyways.

it its having you take an update after a reset it seems like they must force and update is my guess.

it only says that if i do what nintendo suggested by powering the system down fully then pressing the power button while holdeing both the vol -and + at the same time... its almost like rcm mode but with a screen to see instead of a blank display and bt i tried the update... i was able to input a new ssid pw but there was still no was to goto settings pane from there I am and always was on fw 5.0.2it says upto date after trying to find new os firmware the other 2 optiona are systen reset or system reset without losing userdata... wich is what i shouldve probly picked but i didnt and now i'm paying for it
