i am thinkin once atmp comes out someone will get bbb dumps to work.

its a 2 way direction, if your in to backups then xecuter is your way, if your into homebrew then team reswitched.

for me i want backups as well, but i can wait a month and see what happens.
i like the auto rcm feature actually,
we are still 3 weeks away from anything being out, the scene is amazing thanks god and im pleased we have 2 teams working and hope the rest jumps in

Problem I see here though is the software will clearly be used maliciously, great to back up your games yes but we all know it's true purpose and why it was made

A: Yes. In case of SX Pro the license is tied to your dongle and console. In case of SX Lite the license is tied to your license code and console.

yeah this part confuses me the most
if we can use the non pro with our PC and phone then why would they lock the license that comes with the pro version to the dongle?
i thought they said you could use one dongle and have multiple licenses to install SX OS on multiple switches so now what are they saying ,that you need to buy multiple pro versions if you want it on more than one switch instead of one pro version and then license for each other device?
and if you get the pro version you can not use a PC or phone you always have to use the dongle?
but the non pro version will let you use a phone PC etc but if you got a used dongle later you could not use it with the non pro license?
so many questions , why lock the dongle if it is only $10 and the non pro lets you use any device to inject the payload

This is a misconception. Atmosphere doesn’t have a release date beyond “summer.” The F/G public disclosure was slated for June 15 but was pushed up due to the scene leaking it.

We are in the final stages on adding support for running homebrew software regardless of firmware version and we expect to have this included with one of the first SX OS updates.

The end goal of backup loading is now TRUE, it's done. The homebrew aspect which ive had the pleasure of checking out(lots of rebooting thanks to scissorsEm pluto and gang and cpajuste) will soon follow with linux in their first update.

As a enduser who had kept the firmware low, and one of very few people on here(less than 17%) with firmware lower than 3.0.1 who actually ran homebrew without a jig..


it is a tedious process that my 8 year old son cant replicate without some sort of help, the fact that i have to reset and do the same contra code of settingup hombrew and running photos..

When I pressed someone for proof, they showed me a 4chan post where supposedly Scires stated that Atmosphere was slated for June 15th. Someone else chimed in and said he frequently uses that handle on 4chan. In the grand scheme of things, it would make sense to have Atmosphere come out on the same day as Fusee Gelee, but practically, you can't have an expected date on something you're actively working on, especially in your free time.

Hacking something you own and purchased has nothing to do with piracy. They aren't related! That's like saying I cut my pizza into squares instead of triangles so I guess since I do that I can go steal some pizza. Ya bad analogy but you get the jist. Hacking a product you purchased isn't the same as hacking into the Pentagon, hacking in this forum means modding and it's 100% allowed because you own what youre modding. I can see why you would think piracy and hacking go together because hacking/modding can promote it but that's not what these forums certainly allow. You won't see any game dump links posted.

Not happy to hear that the Pro version dongle is console locked ---- FAQ would have been nice before pre orders went live...just saying. I have two switches and was planning on sharing the dongle between the two for ease of use. But it is needed way more than I assumed originally. So I guess I need to cancel my only OS orders and move those to Pro versions too. I don't want to have to have a computer all of the time when I take my switch on the road a lot.
