Unusual DS flashcart clones on AliExpress

Just found two clone flashcarts on AliExpress. One is a TTDS Gold (possibly a rebadged R4 SDHC Gold Pro) and the DSONE i.

The DSONE(i) is the just the same old DSOne clones with an incorrect label on them. I'll confirm for sure soon since I have one coming, but that's what I've heard.

Also, if relevant for whatever reason, my labelled one hasn't got any PSRAM issue

Another fake/rehashed clone has been found on eBay, namely the "R4 Azure". This card is none other than a relabeled R4 SDHC Dual Core from (r4sdhc.com.cn/r4sdhc.hk) being the fact that its an Ace3DS+ clone, albeit, with bundled emulators and Wood R4 including a new skin.

I'm really disappointed by this one. Not only do they advertise with US based software but write "download above" while the link is below, they also just have the emulators as "To play XY, run this first". They are in no way integrated into the menu. There is no software in this copy and paste job!

Just confirmed from @DobaMuffin that the R4 Azure kernel works on their Ace3DS+ clone.

I agree that the R4 Azure is more of a quick nutjob, by rehashing an existing cart and falsely advertising their product. Its expensive too around $30 for 1 cart, which is rather scummy of them.

I was happy to have found those, as well as every other clone I could find that the time on aliexpress.

I can confirm they are indeed just the standard DSOne sdhc clones and not the i clones.

I had psram issues on both the cartridges I purchased, but after reflowing them, it fixed the psram issues entirely.

I'm really disappointed by this one. It really is disappointing. It's just a quick change in ui and custom label job being sold for 3 to 4x the cost of the flashcard itself.

I had psram issues on both the cartridges I purchased, but after reflowing them, it fixed the psram issues entirely.

No problem. You'll read the reviews to buy 2 or 3 in hopes of getting a working one, and for most people this is the best they can do. It does seem to just be poorly soldered psram though so it should be repairable.

Same thing happened to me with my initial one (no label version), but in trying to reflow it, and not realizing my heat gun was a lil overkill for the job, I fried the faulty one

How did you relow it? I used my hot air station and some flux and heated up the ice until I could nudge it a bit and it would shift a little bit before going back into place.

I have a heat gun that's not meant for or suitable for small jobs but it was all that I had at my disposal where I was at when I tried.
