Did anybody get the terminal to work? Mine just crashes immediately.
I'm using the newest build, made with the self building script.

Quick question is there a chance of screen issues using this version of Linux?

Also does this version of Linux throw off the battery calibration of the switch itself? Which could have adverse effects on the battery.

Does this have the battery issue?

As far as I know this is a problem with the linux kernel, but in all seriousness this is such a non issue.
If your battery desyncs all you have to do is hold the power button for 15+ seconds and the problem is fixed.

On the other hand if you're worried about things like that, maybe linux isn't the right choice for you right now.

Serious answer:

No, it's not compiled for ARM, but if it was, it would run at around 30 fps, so it would actually be quite playable. (using a GPD Win as reference)

GPD Win doesn't have as good hardware acceleration as the Switch, the GPD Win is using an Intel HD 615.

BTW, there are a few devices that are open source that run on specs exact or similar to Switch, (Google Pixel C is very close), using Tegra X1... what would be the steps to getting them booted using current exploit chains?

Resetting by holding the power button does nothing for some people. You have to open up the Switch and unplug and plug back the battery to re-calibrate it, this happened to me before.
