Hacking freeShop issue or is something not right?

Hello everyone.

I haven't used the 3DS in a long while, and now I wanted to play some of the newer games like Kirby Battle Royale I wish to try out and maybe some others I see?
I assume it's sorted by release date, the latest game I see is Monster Hunter XX, is that correct or are there newer games than that?

I watched a Nintendo Direct from 2017 and it seems the Mario & Luigi game was already out on October 6, but I couldn't find any.

What is the problem and what needs to update?

Wow, this seems I needed another freeShop at that point.

Can only do this on Tuesday though as I don't have my 3DS with me.
Will post back if any issues occur.

The latest version of freeShop is v4.1.3 , but it is only available in .cia format.

Due to a mix up between two developers who work on separate branches of freeShop, the .3dsx version is only available in v4.1.2 .

If your version of freeShop is older than either of these, you need to update.

Make sure your title keys are up to date with that title site or you won't see newer games.

I'll check it when I have acces to my 3DS again.
Incase I need to download a new freeShop, do I need to delete the older one from the Home Menu?

You should be able to update it by installing the latest .cia version. It'll overwrite the current installed freeShop, so no need to delete it first.

Ok so, I'd like to download the lastest .cia version.

Is that the right one? The download only says latest in its name and the links from the posts above was up to 4.1.2.

I just want to be really up to date with that stuff, that's all. Thanks.

Just one thing to know, now it seems 'Detective Pikachu Special Demo' is now the most recent game.
Is that correct?

No. You have an old set of keys. I think newest game goes to Alliance Alive, I don't have freeShop at this moment due to bug testing so can't check. Look for the newest QR code scan of the key at that title site. Can't share what that website is due to TOS.

I got the encTitlekeys.bin from that site.
I'll try QR code ^^

Yeah, the encTitleKeys is updated automatically if you use the QR code and scan it in the Freeshop settings. If you just download the .bin it won't auto update.

I did the QR code in freeShop, restarted freeShop by refreshing cache in the settings and the latest game still says Detective Pikachu.
Assuming you say it's not right, where's the updated stuff? I'm confused.

Might need to actually restart Freeshop properly. The cache and title keys are 2 separate things.
