Hi everyone
I need some help/advise from gbatemp masterminds.
Suddenly my N3DS XL decided not to boot anymore. I tried:
- Resetting (Turn/Off)
- Remove battery
- Boot without SD (SD Card works fine in laptop.)
- Hold select while booting. This works and brings me to Luma3ds (9.0) Configuration screen.
Luma3ds confirguration with SD card inserted: 9.0 and without sd card inserted: 8.x
Note: 2 days ago it worked fine. Last night I dropped my phone on it (3ds was turned off). I am not sure if this is related in anyway.
Any advise?
I thank you sincerely in advance.
Update: I also have access to Luma3ds chainloader. (Holding start while booting)
Update 2: Problem solved! After thinking the phone may have damaged something I unscrewed the back of 3ds screen. Everything looked OK, no damage.
I lost hope until I noticed the R4i cartridge. I remove the cartridge, booted my 3ds and eveything works fine!
The SD card inside the R4i seems to be damaged...Stupid of me not to try that before unscrwing my screen haha.
Now I damaged the pads which go on the screws... well my 3ds works so I am happy.
