Isnt this supossed to be on 4.1.0?

Im not connected, deleted all the connections. Im super worried nowAre you still connected to the net?
I've read that the day one update is for 5.0.

Are you sure it doesnt contain 5.0. Why would they add an update section and not update the core game itself is what makes me wonder...It asks for an update but like not the 5.0 firmware update there's a day one kirby update that adds two more languages and fixes a few bugs. The cart doesnt come with the 5.0 update, and you can play normally without updating either the game or your switch
How can it find a patch when I am offline with no access points saved in settings? It doesn't contain an update...It contains a nag for the day one patch of the game. They either ran out of room on the cart, they knew about some bugs and planned to fix the by day one of the public release, or they knew they would would be doing further bug hunting and added the nag just in case. You don't have to be online for the nag to occur. The base game is designed to look for the day one patch, and if it isn't found it lets you know.
That makes sense I guess. So nothing should happen if someone accidentially pushes that update now button while being offline right? It can't.. that's why it items nagging you. When you start the game, it starts looking for an update for the game. The cart comes pre programmed to tell you it needs an update. This allows them to ship a cart that technically works out of box, but doesn't have all the content that it will have after the patch...this reduces the cart space needed.
it should just be a game update there should be 3 options "cancel", "update now" and "start software" just tap start software. i ran into this issue with rocket league collectors edition cart its a game update but you can't download it without system update first. Until cfw or spoofer for 4.x you are S.O.L. and will have to deal with the nag for now or update to 5.0 and forfeit sweet HB and Cfw.That makes sense I guess. So nothing should happen if someone accidentially pushes that update now button while being offline right?
Nope not really. It should just try to download the game update but then fail due to being offline or being blocked by Nintendo for being on latest firmware (if you were connected to internet)That makes sense I guess. So nothing should happen if someone accidentially pushes that update now button while being offline right?
Even if you accidentally clicked yes, you'd only get an error if the Switch is offline.Hey, I bought Kirby on cartridge yesterday, and I'm on 4.1.0. Since 5.0 dropped I've had Airplane mode on.
When I started it, it prompted me for an update, which I declined (tap "Start Software" instead of Cancel or Proceed). The game booted up and plays just fine. I'm still on 4.1.0
I'm just not going to close it until I finish it 100%, because I bet that nag is gonna pop up every time I try to start the game.
