Looking to pick up a 360 and go through the rgh/jtag route.

Any recommendations on which hardware I should be looking for? And which chip to use? I'm comfortable soldering, and want to keep costs to a minimum if I can :)

Would prefer one of the slim consoles if possible as I owned a couple of phat consoles in the past and they were temperamental.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Cool cheers. That has the smaller nand yeah?

16 MB NAND.
Standard JR Programmer can dump it.

I'm unsure if you needed a 4 GB SD R/W kit for a 4GB Trinity or not, hence I said to get the 250 GB version.

Can you solder?
Can you solder as in, tiny points?

I'd get an Ace v3 (cheapest) or a CoolRunner 3 or CoolRunner 4.
As for install diagrams, google the name of the chip + Trinity install and you'll have several guides.

Then it shouldn't be much of a problem.

Try to get a CR4 if you can and if your budget allows it.
Else a Ace V3 also does the job fine.
You also need a JR Programmer to dump the NAND.

You can dump the NAND with an LPT cable, but it's slow as shite.
Soldering it directly to a USB cable is a dumb thing to do.

SD based dumpers are only for 4 GB corona consoles.

Besides, you need the JR Programmer to program the chip as well.
