Ah, got it, I misread what they said, then. Not sure how I missed that right in the OP that says I need a donor cart.

After reading up on it, the save type of the donor cart needs to be the same as the one I wanna play, right? How does one (like me) know if the donor cart has the same save type? I do have a DSi-enhanced game cart or two lying around that I could borrow from my niece from time to time, but I doubt it's a guarantee of having the same save type... Sorry for the noob questions, I didn't think it'd get as deep as this to get one game working for me, but I am that determined to get it up and running.

Place the save file in the same location as the ROMs, and name it the same filename as the .nds file, but with ".sav" instead of ".nds".

I was reading on a different page on the red screen with dots. This mostly happens when I play pkmn hg after doing 3 actions. Should I use an older version of nds-bootstrap and wait for a newer version comes out or just deal with it lol.

Hi, i dont know if this Question was answered already, but i cant find any help.
I want to play Pokemon Heartgold on my 3ds XL. But i get long loading scenes everytime i enter a new Zone for example. Not everytime but often
and sometimes the whole game freezes in the loading process and i have to restart my 3ds. normal playing is not possible.

Long loading screens are normal with TWLoader. There is no solution on games with a size larger than 28MB.

i just tried playing again and after some minutes the game froze after i spoke to a trainer. The Music is still playing but the screen froze.

Please help!
When I'm trying to load a game, after the ds information screen I get sd init failed error. This happens with all games I tried (checked first on the compatibilty list).
My 3DS is a O3D with last luma and bs9, I use the cia version of TWLoader (last from github), default config and tried both release and dev bootstrap. My SD card is 64gb and ofc FAT32 and 32kb cluster.

Are you using a donor ROM? This game requires you to use Mario Kart DS as a donor rom.

In the internet settings of DS games, is the WEP key the internet password? It's because whenever I put somthing in, a message pops up stating "These settings are invalid. Confirm the information and try again"
