Well, maybe I'm a bit salty because I own a Wii U, and all this ports just scream a big "Fuck you for owning a Wii U, retard!" for me
Okay? I have a Wii U as well, but I also have a Switch, but not everyone knew about the Wii U or had one, that's why they're porting the to Switch. It's the next logical step. I don't see this as a middle finger; I only
saw that when Directs focused on 3DS exclusives and the Wii U never got those games.

Smash is obviously going to be new. If it were a port, they'd have indicated it. If it were DLC, it would have been more than a basic teaser.

Dark Souls is going to be abysmal on the Switch, I can already see it. Oh boy...

Okami is meh, at best. May actually play it now that it's going to be on a system I own.

Undertale is meh.. Never cared for the game. Not sure why it has such a following. I digress.

I enjoy the Mario sports games. So, Tennis is a definite yes for me.

I'm extremely saddened that the Switch isn't seeing Warioware or Luigis Mansion. Captain Toad is "meh".

Crash was the one I was waiting for. Will definitely pick that up.

All in all this direct was a 6/10. So little excitement and too much time wasted. Some decent announcements though. Even if half of them were ports.

Still better than the last Direct, and many others IMO.

Great, Sold my 3DS and now they announce a Bowser's inside story remaster GEAT:angry:

What? Where does it say that?

that ninty direct was such a rotten load of garbage. other than octopath coming out july 13th, nintendo can get lost.

Oh so you'd rather they have one that focused more on Labo? Okay.

YEEEESSSSSSS! Motion controls in Mario Tennis! :D Also, I'm gonna pickup Crash. Time to delete the PS One ROMs. I have a thing for only having one version of a game in my library unless it's something I REALLY REALLY enjoy playing.

bowsers inside story is hype!!

Mario Tennis I'm excited for
Smash bros is an instant purchase altho im not entirely sure how much i'll actually play it as I grew a bit bored of it on Wii U.
Lots of third party games I WANT to buy but wont cos the price difference will be too huge.

octopath traveller looks better everyday.

That's what I thought too, but considering how port happy Nintendo have been lately, it wouldn't surprise me if it turns out to just be an enhanced port.

It'd be a swift kick in the teeth to find out it's a port.

I kind of saw it as a bit of a middle finger when Nintendo decided to make a version of Mario Kart 8 with a proper battle mode, and then not bring the battle mode to Wii U. Basically forcing anyone who has the game on Wii U to buy it again to enjoy what could have easily been added in an update to the game, or even a DLC. I did end up buying it anyways, because I needed more multiplayer games on Switch, but I still feel like it's a ripoff for existing Wii U owners. If they add a couple of new DLC packs then it'll kind of make up for it a little.
As for the other ports, I don't care much either way.
