Most of the source is binary... This sounds fishy.. Why would they not release the source and obfuscate it this way?

Admittedly I never knew that was the nature of this exploit.
I read the page @ Switch Brew and it never mentioned corrupted Mii data.
Is there a way to backup Mii data before running this exploit, and then can it be restored?

You can save the mii stuff by writing it to blank NFC or amiibo

My thought is, tons of developers either obfuscate there stuff, or don't make it open source anyhow. Or if they do, it's a year or so later (like the Enso for the PS Vita). I feel like we are lucky enough to have the ReSwitched team whom is so open to open source and releasing things.

I just want a homebrew program that will allow me to take my BotW save and pull it off the switch onto my SD card so I can back it up and move it to newer firmwares as they become compatible.

This is one of the first thing I wanna do too. Except the update part, I just dont wanna lose my save.

on every full shutdown, if you just power it off normaly, you can just run it again, bascially on every Hard Reset, you need press "Run" install is not needed anymore then.
