Switch TrustZoneHax on 4.x

The ReSwitched Hacking Team have done it again. motezazer, ktemkin and SciresM have achieved code execution on 4.1.0, the latest version at the time of writing this, via deja vu at TrustZone level. This means devices on 4.1.0 and below will be able to gain access to the whole system. SciresM strongly advises to not update in the future.

After less than a year, the Switch hacking team has moved extremely fast and now have got full access on the latest version. The progress being made is incredible, and in comparison, the 3DS took around 2 years to get ARM9 access. The scene is looking very promising so far and we are very lucky to have such talented people working on the Switch.

Does that mean that I should update from 2.3 to 4.1?
They've confirmed on the reswitch internet directmessage chat program that if you update you'll have CFW even sooner. No need to wait, go right ahead.
except they never said this. stop posting bullshit.

when will the next update come? what do you guys think?

I think that the new update will come as soon as the next major N title comes out. Keep in mind, though, that they might release an update to stop certain exploits, but perhaps not all of those found by RS Team.
Peer pressure will force them to release one with the next big thing. I dunno, Kirby Star Allies maybe?

In all seriousness, where do you get the messages from? This seems like Discord, I'm on the Reswitched one, but all I see is vvv-faq or something, am I on the wrong or troll Discord or something?
The Discord name is 'Reswitched' I see. If a troll has taken the name, then I understand I don;t see anything.

Yes for now, since 4.x will be the last to get the exploit
Its the same exploit as on the older firmwares just some modification to get it to work. so idk why it would be last to get the exploit. I guess its Just to make it fair so the people who waited longer get it first.

No they aren't an exactly the same. The Deja vu trustzone sploit is, but the privilege escalation to get to that exploit isn't. On top of that the cfw will likely need to be modified to support the different sysNAND versions. And it only makes sense to work from the bottom up for to service those who listened to stay put and have been waiting the longest.

Now I have a dilemma: update 1.0.0 to latest firmware while i have opportunity or wait for @SciresM release. On one hand, 1.0.0 fw don't have easy access to browser and i don't want to import japanese puyo puyo tetris that required for browser access. On other hand, 4.x release waiting can take years.

You should probably read the faqs that's on vvv-faq.

If i buy a switch from the store right now do they all come on 4.1.0 or lower or are they now selling them on higher firmware

4.1.0 is the highest firmware. Unless you manage to buy one from the future you are guaranteed to get one on 4.1 or lower. I've already stated that a few times
