Better than waiting for the actual homebrew thats supposed to have been released by now. A lot of people right now are keeping themselves occupied with stuff like this, since cfw is taking longer than they expected. If you're not going to attempt to code anything then this post is useless. Just because someone wants a homebrew doesn't mean a dev is going to go "Oh I better drop everything I'm doing and go make this homebrew!!!"

What plan I said its better to keep themselves occupied rather than just waiting for a long time with no news. Think about this in a positive way like brainstorming for what could be created when cfw is released not something to force devs to make. Also where did you get that idea for devs to drop everything to make a homebrew app the title says "homebrew ideas" not "what homebrew should devs be making"."The devs of RocketLauncher aren't releasing right now, so let's post a thread asking for devs to make homebrew when there's no devs doing anything outside of nds-bootstrap development."
Solid plan you have there.
The point is that devs aren't interested in making DSi homebrew. The DSi homebrew community is basically nonexistent. If people actually bothered to go learn how to code so they could make homebrew that people requested, then the thread could have a use. Otherwise there's no point in the thread. What plan I said its better to keep themselves occupied rather than just waiting for a long time with no news. Man you seem to take these small threads way too seriously. Sounds like you don't really like when others try to imagine what could be waiting for them when cfw is released. What is actually bothering you here and why no one ever said the Dev's would make this stuff, these are ideas and like I said no one ever said the Dev's would want to make the homebrew that other people want. I am not trying to be rude to you not in the slightest, speajust don't get what bothers speakingabout this thread really because its obvious they would know some of these ideas won't be made. And stop stop speaking for the Dev's you don't know what they are interested in none of us do.The point is that devs aren't interested in making DSi homebrew. And "brainstorming for what could be created when cfw is released" there's no point in doing that. Focus on what's possible with what you have instead of focusing on something you don't have.
The problem with the thread is that it's like the "make a N64 emu for n3DS" threads. Except sometimes there's actual reasonable things put in the thread, but again NO ONE is interested in coding for DSi so NO ONE is making them. And there's a lot of simple things that surely someone could learn to code in a few days, but they're not learning how to code. They're sitting on their asses asking other people to do it for them.Man you seem to take these small threads way too seriously. Ok I think I have a better understanding since when that was being created people kinda were pushing the Dev to make it happen. But the difference between this and that is this is more about speculation and not a bunch of people telling one guy to make something that isn't so simple in the first place. If this was that I would completely understand if someone told them to make homebrew themselves. The problem with the thread is that it's like the "make a N64 emu for n3DS" threads. I may actually make very simple apps if I like the idea. But nothing fancy and time consuming. DS homebrews work with DSi anyways so no real reason for most homebrews to write for dsi mode (and there is no documentation on how to write dsi enhanced homebrew). The problem with the thread is that it's like the "make a N64 emu for n3DS" threads. Whelp that proves my point.I may actually make very simple apps if I like the idea. But nothing fancy and time consuming. DS homebrews work with DSi anyways so no real reason for most homebrews to write for dsi mode (and there is no documentation on how to write dsi enhanced homebrew).
I did not try to argue against you, so I didn't quote youWhelp that proves my point.
A fraction of DS homebrew works on DSi without a flashcart. A really small fraction. nds-bootstrap can't do most homebrew without arm7 being unlocked, and there's still homebrew that's unsupported.DS homebrews work with DSi anyways so no real reason for most homebrews to write for dsi mode
No not that, I said that maybe a Dev would be interested in a idea for a certain type of homebrew. Also not trying to have another argument, that is a waste of time for a thread on speculation and i already wasted some here. But if you do start a project for some kind of homebrew in the future I wish you the best of luck!I did not try to argue against you, so I didn't quote you
