The compatibility list says it works and it does, but it freezes shortly after when starting a mission. I was wondering if anyone else had this issue. Also audio tends to cut out in the punisher for PS2 as well.

Is this a problem with webmanmod or is it just an emulation issue?

Have this same exact issue, and same exact freezing you had. Couldn't get the game to work.

Yeah it works until I try to play galatic empire campaign. I haven't tried any other mode though.

According to this it works though. I haven't tried actually using a config file though so maybe that's the issue. I'll report back in another post.

EDIT: Nope. Froze again after a few seconds after pressing X to confirm objective.

Tried this https://gyazo.com/ef78a0bb307723a758f0d7f8eab26cac I removed the "iso" part from the name of the config, tried the game again..same thing.

I, myself, don't know how to apply a config, but I'm pretty sure that isn't quite right. I'm pretty sure this is the appropriate BF2 config, I just don't know what to do with it. Something with 'netemu', maybe?

You were right the first time in including the whole filename of the .iso (bf2.iso.CONFIG). It seems you also need to be running a firmware that has a patched ps2emu to support config files with the respective .iso. There was some success from this post with another game: http://www.psx-place.com/threads/how-to-configure-ps2-on-ps3-emulator.15779/page-2#post-97708

Maybe load the game through Managunz?
https://github.com/Zarh/ManaGunZ/releases

The link you gave has Managunz in its path.

Shouldn't those ps2emu files install automatically when you install cobra version of cfw?

Just tried mounting it with this. Didn't work so I tried changing the config file back to what it's suppose to be and then loaded it through managunz again, I saw options for config editor but i'm not sure what the options do I just see current config, soft config, and GX config. I tried pressing start on all three and the screen just flashed so i'm not sure if I even did anything..

Nope. Still didn't work.

Game still freezes on me..it also seems to have framerate issues right before it freezes to.
