Hacking Boot9strap installer falsely saying arm9loaderhax is installed

Hi, so i wanted to install cfw on a friend's 3ds but when I ran the safeb9installer tru ntrboothax, it said that arm9loaderhax whas installed.
But this was a unmodded console
How can I fix this?

Are you 100% sure it was unmodded? Maybe it has a9lh with payload in nand? Try putting old Luma .bin on SD lol

How are you sure though? You really need to be sure before you soft brick from incompatible hacks.

I am sure. My friend told me . But I will try a old godmode 9 bin file as boot.bin to be sure when I am home

I tried an old bin file and it turns out it was modded! My friend just didn't know.
