Hacking Got banned. Any suggestion ?

So I installed the CFW on 4.82 at the released of exploit. I nearly didn't used the console at that time and I was sure to be not online when I've used it.

I might made a mistake since I just got my account banned (without any mail or anything) with the code 8002A227. Worst of it, I can't even get on my psn account on another device (and I bought a LOT of game, which make it pretty bad for me).
Soooo, is there any mean to get it back ? Or I am permanently fucked ? I know there's some way to unban a ps3; but since I can't even connect to my psn account on other device? i'm a "little" scared that I can't unban at all.

If your account has been banned or suspended you should receive an e-mail explaining why to the sign in ID. If you have not received this e-mail then you should contact PlayStation Support for further information.

Nope, no mail =/ But from what I read on the net, it's supposed to be only a console ban, not an account ban =/ I guess I'll try to call them to know more

Had both my console and account banned a few years ago. Shame because I had a few purchased Vita games on my account but eh. Did you do anything to prevent the ban like run the homebrew apps that help mask that you're on CFW? (Can't remember the names of them. PSNinja(?)

There's no way to unban a PSN account sadly.

Mmmh I though I was not connected to be honnest. An I almost didn't used the console at all. That's why I find it strange.

From what I read some say it's not permanent, other say it is. Damn that's hurt =/ I'll try to contact them and tell them it's not my fault. Maybe it'll pass (I've already had my account hacked before, maybe I can say it's the same ~~ Yes I'm dreaming)

There must always a solution to everything, changing ip ? Or swapping stuff?

(I was banned somewhere not on psn though but then i found out i was not banned)

Got my account banned & I received an email 3 days or so later. Nothing much to do.
I play the game fair. I messed up & I have to pay for it.
I was lucky enough to have all my purchased games on my HDD (I think)

Last thing to say : Sorry for your account & Yes you can open à new account.

If your account is banned, you should receive a message in red that says you’ve violated PSN’s Terms of Service at which point there is nothing you can do about it. Another indicator of a permanent ban is the lack of email notification.

I read that if we were banished for life, we would not receive email.
But I got one and I'm banished for life.

Otherwise , Like you said, if you try to login & have a message in red, google the error code it give & you will know if it's for life or console ban

If you have an US account you will get this email:

If you have an account in Europe or other region you won’t get an email and yep. You lost everything and will never be unbanned..

I don't play online with any of my games. Just curious about what the big deal is with being banned? Does this simply mean that you just can't play your games online anymore? I can see how this would be a big deal for those that do a lot of online gaming. If worse comes to worse, could someone just buy a new console that hasn't been banned, and setup a new account/IP address with Sony? Would getting banned be detrimental in any way to those that don't play online at all?

I've like used one time my ps3 on cfw, was pretty sure to been disconnected from psn. I guess I was connected one time... I hope I'll find a solution but I don't think so. Does it say “system” or “account” has been suspended? Go to PlayStation.com and try to log in, if you can’t - yup. Your account is banned.

In your case i would check if the system is banned for sure: try to login with a different account on your PlayStation or try to create a new account: if it says that you’re banned - this will mean that ur console is banned as well not only ur account

Yes you can buy a new console and create a new account - you don’t need to change ur IP if u get banned; you just need an unbanned console


You can simply have 2 consoles if u really care - one console with OFW for online gaming and the second one for CFW and emulators and stuff like that


If you play offline the ban won’t affect your gaming in any way; you won’t even notice the ban if you don’t play online at all to be honest

You could but then you would need to repurchase all your games which can be expensive.

Can you not connect to the psn website entirely? When you get banned your up gets banned as well... afaik
