Alright Folks..... first, I would like to apologize for the delay of my promised Splatoon 2 CODE (EUR) giveaway (btw I dont know if its region locked or world wide, I see mixing reports) but as promised, here it is!
Some rules (ofc some of them more moral than mandatory rules.... im not an judge, nor am I an detective or willing to be one):
1. If you already own the game and if you can afford it without any problems, please let others participate without lowering their chance (percentage).
2. If you have zero interest in this game then please dont participate in this giveaway.
3. Accounts created after this post = not accepted (main reason = fraud).
How to participate?
1. Simply PM (private message) me your Gbatemp username in this way (example): "deSSy2724 - Splatoon 2 GW" to participate in this giveaway and thats it (all you need to do and dont spam this thread, only PMs are accepted) - STARTING FROM NOW ON and I will end the giveaway by the end of Friday the 5th (European time: 23:59h 5th Friday - UTC +1) and PLEASE, KEEP IN MIND that I will ignore all PMs regarding my giveaway after that time
2. I will start my giveaway on the random.org page but not using the "free service" but instead the "paid service" (1 dollar) and here are the reasons why that site:
- Again, the main reason is fraud because I want it to be as transparent, fair and "fraud-free" as possible. The "free service" can be manipulated, so its a big NO-NO for me and I believe for all of us aswell and to start "more rounds" and a "video giveaway" is pointless because it is already perfectly random after the first round and multiple rounds have no impact on the last/final round (only the final round counts) and therefore, there is really no need for more rounds and second, video giveaway can be faked. For all that, more infos here:
https://giveaways.random.org/warning and here:
https://giveaways.random.org/faq
- It uses true randomness (TRNG) instead of pseudo randomness (PRNG) which means every participant has the exact same chance of winning in percentage. To be precise, the site uses "true randomness that comes from atmospheric noise"
- By the end of a round (in my case, one round) the site generates a "verification code" which basically prevents any fraud and make it transparent, so, you would know that I started only one round in my giveaway and that I have not rigged it in any way. And one more thing, quoting random.org: "it is not possible for someone to delete or hide giveaways from their history." (btw I already started a test giveaway to test their service, you will see it later).
3. I guess, thats it......
