Has anyone tried connecting/making the antenna external to help with the Switch's wifi issues? I've tried everything short of using an ethernet adapter (tried 3 wifi routers with varying degrees of success and also sent it in for repair) and since I mainly use mine in portable mode the Ethernet adapter doesn't really work for me.

I'm debating trying it out but I figured I'd ask around to see if anyone has had any success with it before I void my warranty.

If you need more speed, try setting your MTU to 1500 under the wifi you are using
The MTU should be set to the same as it is in his router, which may or may not be 1500.

I think you can plug USB devices into the USB-C port if you have a USB-C to female USB type A adapter. Don't quote me on that though, I've never tried it, I just seem to remember someone saying that it works.
It's not the most convenient way to play but if you have a sufficiently long LAN cable it shouldn't be too bad.

Why is everyone complaining about the Switch's wifi? Mine works fine for the most part.
Because the wifi chip in the switch isn't all that great.
That's why it works for the most part, but not as desired because most devices have better wifi chips

It's factually terrible. I shouldn't be able to get full signal on my 3DS yet barely detect it on my Switch. I have to use my laptop as a hotspot if I want any kind of quality.
