Hacking Ps3Xploit - Now Install CFW from 4.82 OFW : NOR/NAND Software Flash Writer + NOR Dumper Released
Same boat aswell. Really wanted a cfw ps3 since my original ylod. Just seems they killed of the e3 flasher.Noooooooooooo! Dangit, will there ever be a way for late slims?
Forgive me for what's a pretty noob question, but I don't really know all too much about PS3 hacking. The model number on the back of my slim was CECH-2001A. What exactly does this mean, since under "DUMPER", 20XX is under Slim Supported but A=NAND is under not supported. Does this just mean I can't dump the NAND?

I rushed out and got a Super Slim the moment I heard about @esc0rtd3w n crews work (thank you so much people <3).

I keep getting "Triggering Exploit FAILED 10 times" , using the redtrainer page for the Nor Wrtier? Any Ideas? Using a CECHK03 on 4.82
Actually, no. To do it you have to use a cfw for your version. Ex: 4.82 cfw on 4.82 ofw. For a mistake i tried installing 4.81 cfw on 4.82 ofw and it gave an error

I just noticed I have the NOR Nand Writer page a bit messy as it redirects to the old page first. I apologize. I will fix that once I can find a stable connection
Did you set the browser home page to blank page and then restart the browser first?

I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer

@TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one -

I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version

I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!

I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
