Hardware PSP 3000 - Stuck in time and date

Hey guys,

I wanted to play some old games so I got my PSP(Brite - 3003) but I can't get past initial menu(Set time and date). Directional keys work, volume works, screen brightness works, but no X to proceed to next menu.

-Tried pressing Start+Select with both combinations of X O and square triangle during boot, no good.

-Tried all triggers during boot, nothing

-Disassembled, removed and cleaned the flat cable behind the buttons. Also checked the buttons physically, they seem ok.

-It had the non-permanent 'ChickHEN' before

-Powers on fine with both battery and AC adapter

Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Please help

You may need to get a pandora battery and magic memory stick (mms) to re-flash your firmware

On 300x? Are you sure?
I give you the answer, it will don't work because it only work with 100x\200x pre ta088 v3...
It's an HARDWARE faylt so stop wasting time with software solutions (i don't know why on PSP scene people want\advise always fix hardware fault with pandora id storage fix, like broken screen LOOL)
BTW You cand do only do one thing, buy new button flat, and if don't work you have a broken motherboard...

So I heard this cable(picture) could be the problem.

I also heard ChickHEN could have corrupted my flash0/flash1, and a reflashing could solve. Is there no way of reflashing PSP-3003?
Any other opinions? What would you guys do? I'd hate to change the cable and see the problem continue.

Also, the bottom part of the cable connects to the power switch. So technically my cable works(if only partially)
