Hardware Sold my PS4 Pro.Should i get Switch?

Also hardware dont matter to me like i know people that Will pick the pro over switch Just because it has higher specs...
That seems silly and you should look at the software thats gonna come out for it and like i said i checked the whole Line up of PS4 2017/2018 pretty much nothing seems interesting and what does look good comes also to switch plus the switch has its exclussives that i like im more into zelda,Metroid then lets say God of war or call of duty or horizon zero even death stranded im rly not liking it alle that much..
I do like doom and Wolfenstein tho and bethesda games in general but those are coming to switch also Skyrim is a very solid port i heard it doesnt dip in framerate ever like PS4 did So thats good sure less textures but no dips thats awesome...
Im sure doom will get better over better with patches as well..
Im not missing out much on PS4 because those games i mention that are coming for it u wouldnt buy it anyways..
The reason i kinda feel regret is because of the hardware side of things i sold something that has better specs for lower specs but i shouldnt look at that tho and if i dont and just look at the software nintendo wins atm so far for me at least so i think i Will pick it up..
I can use the switch pretty much as a dedicated console too right? Or is that bad for the battery

Not only that but u can use it as a console too right i rly dont go out much but i do change rooms alot so if i im my living room gaming on tv i can bring it with me to bed in my bedroom there is no tv at all so u can still continue playing for example it will mostly be using docked mostly tho unless i leave or want to play in my other room cant rly do that with PS4 unless i unhook everything etc..

zelda: botw is not exclusive to the switch, its also on the wii u, there is no Metroid game yet in the switch, Skyrim is almost in every console and only god know when Bethesda will stop milking that game, Doom will be dead in a few months, the only worthy exclusive the switch have are Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2 and maybe Arms, while the PS4 have many exclusive games.
i'm just wondering why you purchased the PS4 pro in the first place if you don't like any of those games, no one even knows how Death Stranding even look like so how come you don't like that game when you don't even know anything about it?
i hope the switch will have good games in the future but as for now nothing worth it except for Mario Odyssey.
the most important question is: do you have the money to buy the switch and it's over priced games? from the sound of it you barely have the budget for a new console, so why spend it on a new console that have few games at the moment and hope for the future? and as i told you before, if you really into nintendo games only then just get a WiiU with cheaper price and play the same zelda botw + many other things and have fun with it for 1 or 2 years and then get the switch.
at the end it's up to you man just get what the hell you want, i know you made up your mind to get the switch before you even start this thread.

In that case you should go pc with a switch combo.I like Sony exclusives so I went pc + ps4 combo,the switch however won't interest me until its actually confirmed to have the next generation of Pokemon on it.

After not touching my 3DS on vacation last week (and not touching it for months before that), I decided to sell it and keep the switch as my only console. Before that was WiiU+3DS. I stopped buying Sony and MS consoles when I realized I was not enjoying the games as much as 1st party Nintendo. I don't get urges to go back to old games so I don't keep my old consoles.

OTOH, Switch is getting a roundabout "best of" Steam in terms of support, from Rocket League to Stardew Valley/Owlboy and DOOM/Skyrim to Enter the Gungeon and Axiom Verge. Not even mentioning the must-have first-party titles like Mario Odyssey and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. There's really no denying it, Nintendo is killing it right now. Factor in Capcom and Namco Bandai exclusives and it's starting to get ridiculous. 2018 gonna be even more insane.

I hope so. Currently need good third party exclusives. The rereleases are great, don't get me wrong.. But I'm hoping 2018 gives us something fresh outside of Nintys hands.

I can't exactly sell my 3ds till smash switch fills the gap of a portable smash bros for me

Then you can wait a very long time because Nintendo doesnt rly roll that way with consoles they did with 3ds but thats because they had too the 3ds came out in 2011 Its old they had to throw in New hardware but like the Wii u they never did that also the Wii the Wii did get a slim at the end of Its life but thats was 5-6 years after the Wii came out and like i said you can wait a very long time then..
Also the Wii u never did so the switch might not either at all

I feel the same way i do like some third party like doom and Skyrim and Wolfenstein for example but those are coming to switch but for the rest like what is most on PS4 im not rly into tbh i did have a PS4 Pro like i said sold it for a switch i felt regret but only because people keep saying how much stronger the pro is then switch So i feel like i sold it for weaker hardware but i dont like the games on the Sony side i do for third party but not its exclusives i did give it a shot tho i remember people were jumping up and down for the last of us i thought it was a short mediocre game lol

Wrong doom wont die soon not untill another real shooter hits the switch like overwatch or something doom is the only Shooter so for people who only have a switch or real hardcore Nintendo fan boys all the have is doom then..
Also death stranded i know enough for one i dont like movie stars to be the lead protagist in games that makes games bad in my eyes lol it feels wrong or feels weird also i dont like the sci fi part of it and not only that i dont like kojima that much i also dont like metal gear as much as people do i never beat any of kojima games i did give it a shot and got far just never fell in love with them..
I why buy a Wiiu when you can buy a switch that just seems stupid..
I can play all my emulators on my raspberry pi 3b and also the Wiiu was a flop lol Its also now DEAD it has not third party almost as with switch Its ALIVE lots of good games coming lots of third party support and support in general for at least 5-8 years from now so yeah rly dumb to mention some one to buy a Wiiu instead of switch..
The Wiiu is fun and all but it sure doesnt beat the switch if you can afford a switch go for that if you want Nintendo console thats my opinion

Oh also games dont cost 399 a piece i can afford games Every Month i Just cant afford every console thats understandable because they are expansive i could wait and save for few Months but why wait if u want it now and not like sony games why not sell it and pick up a switch that same very day

And i picked up a PS4 Pro in the first place because im still a gamer..
And at that time the Wiiu was a flop i live in Europe so Xbox is not is not doing good at all and the PS4 Pro was the most powerful at that moment thats why not for the games..
I didnt rly like the exclussives what is offered and coming out exept for one i must admit i did love street fighter v but still street fighter 2 is my all time fav game and the switch got ultra street fighter 2.. So ya see it still leads me there..

I love my Switch, but at the moment it just doesn't have enough games I care about to be my only game system. PS4 has all types of games from all types of genres, while the Switch is lacking in some genres, like music/rhythm games which I love. The Switch is getting Superbeat: Xonic in a few days, but I've already played the crap out of that game on my Vita.

If, for some reason, I could only have one system, it would be the PS4. BUT that's not the case. Switch + PS4 make a great combo.

If I were you, I'd follow their advice and get that golden yoyo. Be sure it's an RGB one because it's the high-end flagship yoyo. People would envy you walking while playing that yoyo especially this coming holidays it will put their Christmas lights to shame.

leave the switch for another year . cheaper .. but more importantly more games there really isnt much on switch had mine since day one .. & dont play it much at all... its the same old curse of getting a nintendo console its good but no games for years
