I've heard the KOR HOME Menu layout doesn't have the Miiverse icon.
Since Miiverse has ended, there should be a tool that makes the HOME Menu layout look like the KOR version, since Nintendo made the lazy decision of not removing the icon.

Hope this isn't asking for copyrighted content.
Most likely there will be a FW update soon

Nintendo is probably not going to remove Miiverse icon irritatingly enough, wouldn't editing the home menu run the risk of brick when updates come around?

Just a theory, but I suppose you could rip parts from the Korean home menu and insert them into the US version. Or take parts from an old US home menu that only had the 4 icons. LauncherLZ is where the image and layout files for the icons are stored, so I'm guessing it'd probably be that file you'd have to swap or edit. At this point in time you'd have to extract, edit and then encrypt the cia every time you want to update, but if someone gets lumas layeredfs working with the home menu you could ideally just have the edited file running on top of whichever versions menu.

The moment I, or someone else, figures this out, I'll be a very happy camper. Gotten my Home Menu to refuse to start up before, so I know LayeredFS in theory could work, but at the same time, have yet to succeed in making any Home Menu patches as such.

I can for sure remove the Miiverse logo by simply making it transparent and/or moving it elsewhere by editing the Home Menu itself then reinstalling it, but LayeredFS will make the process a whole lot easier.

Yeah, it would definitely make it a hell of a lot more straightforward. Also, it's not the guide but I found that if you use Asia81s DARC tool on the LZ files you can extract them further than the Home Menu tool allows you to. You'll be able to see the bclim, bclan and bclyt files, so that might make them easier to edit(?).

I go through those using EveryFileExplorer as it currently is. :)
