I'm not looking for thoseThere are a lot of DS Lite hardmods out there that can turn your console into a Game Boy Micro, if you want.
Well those are pretty much the most popular DSLite hardmods. By the way, what type of hardmod do you want anyway?I'm not looking for those
Those are everywhere
Well, there's the GBAccelerator DS which lets you overclock a DS to run games sped up. (activated/deactivated with a button combo)I'm not looking for those

Why, do you have a bricked DS Lite?I'm looking for stuff like flashers
Because I keep buying them and I brick half and sell the ones I don't brickWhy, do you have a bricked DS Lite?
It doesn't seem like anyone has re-flashed their DS with a hardware flasher, instead people have replaced their BIOS chip completely.
How do you manage to brick them?Because I keep buying them and I brick half and sell the ones I don't brick
You need to be more careful when you flash them, cover the sides of your tool in electrical tape or something.sl1 vr1
I can flash modded firmware with itYou need to be more careful when you flash them, cover the sides of your tool in electrical tape or something.
What is even the point in Flashme anymore?
But there's no point in having modded firmware.I can flash modded firmware with it
Awesome! I have 1 workong ds sitting here so I'm gona do that! But there's no point in having modded firmware.
Anyway, there is a way. It involves swapping the BIOS chip on a running console for the broken one then running the FlashMe installer.

It sounds dangerous, but the BIOS chip is actually socketed, so there's no soldering required and it can be done quickly.
There was a point. Stuff like Flashme could remove the H&S screen and other stuff, so you could turn it on and be directly to the menu. I preferred the H&S being skipped. But there's no point in having modded firmware.

To remove the health and safety warning. What is even the point in Flashme anymore?
I don't think the risk is really worth the half second it saves you, but each to their own, I suppose. To remove the health and safety warning.
