if one of these companies wants to stand out, they need to make it work like this
SD Card inserted = DS Mode
no SD Card = NTRBoot Mode
Personally I prefer a hard switch. It's less convenient, but it's less prone to fail.

Tho the official wood r4 cards have more features like RTS, better 3in1 expansion pack support etc. This ^^^
I prefer to have an unofficial WOOD kernel then a crappy cart with a hidden switch.
Othar than RTS both are pretty much the same on my 3DSs.Tho the official wood r4 cards have more features like RTS, better 3in1 expansion pack support etc.
Yeah, they have the same design etc. but I think that ROM compatibility is a bit better with the gold 3ds one etc. As I said better support for 3in1 expansion packs and maybe some other features.Othar than RTS both are pretty much the same on my 3DSs.
I have both, can test. But anyway until now everything worked fine.Yeah, they have the same design etc. but I think that ROM compatibility is a bit better with the gold 3ds one etc. As I said better support for 3in1 expansion packs and maybe some other features.

It's the old style but you can install ntrboot with just one 3ds using this:
https://github.com/ntrteam/ds_ntrboot_flasher/releases
Yeah, takes about 4-5 days (it's $5 extra though but worth it). Ordering from China takes about 3-6 weeks this time of year.Nice! They typically have decent shipping then?
You need a working 3ds to flash the ntrboot files to the flashcard. If it's bricked then you need a pre-flashed card like the r4iGold+ or r4i-b9s, or ace3ds X.I would just be able to use the one in my 3ds to load the files onto to unbrick, correct? I had an r4i gold I used when I First modded my 3ds but I lost it moving.
Yes you could do that.Ah, Yes I have a soft brick. So I could however use a Friends unmodded 3ds to flash the files to the card?

He said before that shipping speed is a priority so he's going with modchipsdirect (inside the US). That store only has the RTS in stock right now and he's fine with that. This card can help you out.
There is no need for you to find a hacked 3ds console to flash it because the data is pre-flashed.
Just push the switch into the right side.
NDS-card is a good choice. He said before that shipping speed is a priority so he's going with modchipsdirect (inside the US). That store only has the RTS in stock right now and he's fine with that.
Yes, nds-card is a great choice, I've bought from them many times. But they can't get a flashcard to your doorstep in 5 days like the guy wanted. That's why I suggested modchipsdirect.NDS-card is a good choice.
