Hardware Want to trade my Switch for PS4 VR what are your guys views?

I’d take portability over getting a splitting headache from having a screen 2 inches fro your eyes any day of the week

I was thinking about that myself and you might be right there, honestly I never really like to trade in stuff anyway but my switch is just sitting there doing nothing.

Also I cant find a vita anywhere below £180 and when i do there in very bad nick, with no "special vita" memory sd's or what ever they are

Maybe you're using it wrong sounds like you bought the wrong thing everyone else is excited for Mario odyssey right now

That is because you are late
My local best buy and Walmart clearanced them for $80 over a year ago
I know a few stores in Europe had them even cheaper for a short time
Directbuyhk had them for $97 and shipped worldwide for the longest time
I'm talking about all new ones too no possibility for dents
All the cheap ones are sold out now so you're back to paying near full price.
Pstvs were $20 everywhere too for a long time Walmart best buy Target even Amazon but now they're more than twice that for a used one.

The only reason anyone gets headaches from VR is because your eyes and brain are overworked from all the information they have to process. It's like getting a digital eye candy high. You get used to it, it's no big deal.

I mean, when you think about it VR was the next logical iteration to 3D, and depending on what your setup is it could also be significantly cheaper than buying a decent 3D capable monitor

Not when you can technically hook it up to a PC and use it on steam. Yeah it's possible. It's the most advanced kind of gaming there is at the moment and everyone I've showed it to was amazed. It gets a taboo reputation for some reason. It's like sushi. People hate it without trying it. Try it first and then make your decision, if you can find someone that has it.

I'm not using it wrong i'm too distracted by the great games on ps4 and there just isnt enough games for the switch right now, and if I think about it i'm more likely to keep updating my PS4 collection over my Switch, that could all change in a year though.

plus you can add people abuse,we supposed to get 1 hour rest for every 2 hours of play,a lot of people playing 12 hours or more with not rest at all

I like that, thanks dude I think I'm swaying more towards the PSVR than anything else at this point I've seen one pretty cheap at £250 so after selling the switch should still have a bout £100 to play with for some games etc.
Also any one ive spoke to who has tried it is telling me to get it, but its still a hard decision.

Just be VERY aware of this;

1)A good portion of the games right now are fairly short, but still good. Resident Evil 7 on the other hand is a full game. There are others which are full as well.

2)You WILL get motion sick. I never get motion sick in general and this did it to me. It's because in games your brain is thinking to move one way and you'll be moving another. Games like Until Dawn: Rush of Blood REALLLY trick your brain into thinking you're on a moving roller coaster. With motion sickness take breaks, but it gets better and better, it's like astronaut training, you get used to it.

3)People will nitpick about the resolution and screen door effect, but it's NOT as severe as they make it out to be and even on a PS4 Slim which I have it's a mind blowing experience to me.

4)If you have glasses apply lens protectors to the PSVR lenses. I've read stories of scratches.

Bought a switch after launch and although I think its a great console with loads of potential I feel it's still not there yet and there is just not enough games that i like yet, I've been looking into VR for PS4 for the last few weeks now and although VR is also not quite there yet I do feel that it's the way for me to go for the next few years, at least until the switch really starts taking off or turns into a VR/ Augmented reality system as a few have speculated.
So what are your guys thoughts?

Also as I have Zelda DLC and a few digital purchases on my switch. Is it possible to delete my Switch account, but leave the DLC/Digital games active for the buyer ? would be a shame to waste them.

Are you kidding me ? Wait for better games in 2018. I have PS3,PS4, and Nintendo Switch. I will not exchange it for anything!!!!

Seriously dude if you aren't excited for Mario odyssey I don't know why you bought it in the first place go trade it for the psvr nobody is going to try and stop you.

I have a PS4 pro switch and Xbox one I just buy whatever cool looking game comes out for whatever system it's for and play it never had a problem with being distracted. Right now I'm super excited for Mario but that's not making me consider getting rid of my other games.
