a simple question will be citra compatible with nintendo switch games? I think the cartridges use the same codes as those of 3ds

not at all possible as of now and probably ever. emulator developers for some reason do not like to have support for new consoles in their emulators (dolphin wont add 3ds support to dolphin or make a separate 3ds emulator from dolphin, cemu wont support switch as of now) its weird but no, Citra probably wont get Switch emulation, whenever it does come.

WRONG! Switch and 3DS may use cartridge. But that doesn't mean that they share the same file format.
3DS games use .3ds/.cia/.cxi/.app while Switch use a new format which I don't know but Switch hackers know.
Also, if you have a brain, the image above me is pretty obvious. XD

Again, Citra is a 3DS Emulator and not a Switch Emulator. All those "Switch Emulators FREE" or "Switch Emulator Android" or more are considered fakes. The Nintendo Switch just came out nearly a year. Citra was in development and shows Ocarina of Time title screen in 2014, 3 years after the release of the 3DS. Don't compare Citra with Cemu Wii U cause Cemu Devs are full time paid workers while Citra 3DS are part timers.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I don't have a Nintendo Switch, but I've seen some people putting a Nintendo Switch cartidge to a DSi and a 3DS if it will run games. The results are nothing as Nintendo Switch don't use the same file format as DS/3DS.

a simple question
Yeah right. That's not simple.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

sorry,i dont know, and for the best build,is variable, they are 4, depends which game goes better in some than in others but the nightly and canary builds are the best and for speedhack no idea sorry,I'll ask it another way, is there any way to put a patch without ds and play it in citra? I think there is no piracy in the question
Now for that question.
With modding supports implement to Citra Nightly and Canary, I think you can patch if you have:
1. A dumped rom
2. A dumped update of a specific rom
3. HackingToolKit3DS to extract game data(DOES NOT REQUIRED 3DS TO EXTRACT)
4. SaltySD

I'm not sure if SaltySD can support Monster Hunter. But I guess you have to do the 2nd option and that is extract and rebuild the rom to make a patched version.
Edit: SaltySD doesn't supports Monster Hunter. Just Pokemon and Smash Bros.

argg you know what game I'm interested in patching, then I can only hope that citra read format .cia,or can be patched with luma, and the other is to know what format the switch games have, but I think they will not move away from the format of 3ds or cia, until someone finds out we will not know much, and switch used more or less to my opinion the same or little More hardware than 3ds but with more graphics power, I am not a computer technician but it is my point of view, well until someone investigates the switch guts little we will know, thanks for answering my doubts, citra is limited and I do not know that you can do and not (I have other emulators but this is the most complicated)

Well. For game patching in Monster Hunter, just simply use HackingToolKit3DS and extract the rom's data. HackingToolKit3DS does not require 3DS. Just only your rom. You can also use HackingToolKit3DS to rebuild once you edit everything.
From this thread, it may be using .cia which I understand. But there's a converter that convert CIA to 3DS in no problem. Just Google 3DS to CIA Converter. So yeah. You can play Monster Hunter English Patch on Citra.
Now if you ask to let someone do it, no thanks.

Just do the 2nd method.

Can anyone explain to me why the FPS on Stella Grow sucks? I literally can't understand how the FPS on a TRPG is bad, when there is not much going on O.o

If you want to play "Mario World" just get an SNES emulator
If you were referring to "Super Mario 3D Land" then you´d have to find a decrypted ROM online, but that´d be piracy and we are not allowed to tell you where to find it

People with no 3DS these days. The 3DS isn't dead yet. You still have chance to get n2dsxl.
Anyways, if you referring "mario world" as Super Mario 3D World, that's a Wii U game. 3DS have 3D Land. But if you referring "mario world" as Super Mario World Virtual Console, Citra cannot play SNES Virtual Console or any N3DS games properly.

Now getting the game, no one including me will help you out. It's against site rules.

Hey Citra Devs and Contributors.

Can you make the lastest update of the 3DS games supported for multiplayer?
I tried playing Smash Bros on 1.1.7 update with some people with 1.1.7 and it will kicked us ouf when a match starts.
You maybe asking, "Why can't you play in 1.0.0 or something?". It's because me and other Smash 3DS Modders want to test out Citra on the latest version. SaltySD doesn't support 1.0.0 and you can't rebuild dt and ls properly. So yeah, have support for the latest version.

Citra doesn't have savestates and I'm not sure if someone would mind making savestates in the future. Also, what happened to your 3DS? Did you got bricked or banned online?

It sounds ridiculous but i did have it but after finding out ex troopers plays much better on ps3 i switched back to ofw i mean ex troopers was really the only reason i really wanted to do it

After long time, I finally reaches the main Home Menu and it works perfectly fine (no crash).
I'm so happy because I've waited so long time to see this menu works again ( Yes, I was able to boot the menu with an earlier build, in March 2017 and since nothing, until developpers implemented some functions a few weeks ago that make the menu works better.

And a proof with the latest canary build of Citra (build 142):

Now the next goal is trying to install system apps ( It brings back a bit of a déjà vu time, like Dolphin with the Wii Menu (empty also) ).

I think one day, Citra will add the same thing, the ability to install apps in Home Menu like Dolphin with .wads :)
