i actually found it yesterday, thanks for the info!

Wasn't System Config Tool dangerous as hell?
Nope that was just a bad myth that was going about just like people who where saying you would brick if you installed out of region games. If you are just using its built in installer then its perfectly safe

I have seen them go for 100 so I think you got a pretty good deal.
Is it in good condition?

Its in used condition, the LCD is clean, but the housing its scratch, dont really care about that since i will not look at the housing while playing lol, so yeah..

I'm having the same problem. My gamepad stopped working and now I can't install anything because I can't use WUP installer. Is there already a solution for this? Some installer that supports wiimote, for instance?

I am having the same problem and i still can´t find a solution to WUP installer GX2

- I bought a wii U for 50 bucks without the gamepad ( i know i will miss some games but those games i really don´t care)

- I installed haxchi, edited de xml and im able to run haxchi without the gamepad.
- I installed patched versions of homebrew channel elf and homebrew channel (Channel)
- The problem is the WUP installer GX2...it requires a gamepad. (only shows logo on tv)

how come many homebrew apps require a gamepad! they followed the dark Nintendo way. Some people don't have a gamepad nor working gamepad and we all play with wii U pro controller

WiiU and the GamePad come hand in hand, without it is like (for males) not having a p3nis. Yeah you can live life without one but would you want to? You'll miss on all the fun!

GamePad's are hard to come by on its own and when they do the asking price is ridiculous. Cheaper to get as a bundle, saves you the headaches.

Just my personal view.

for me buying a gamepad is not an option.
I never liked it, not confortable
plus the battery sucks. and i really like to play games using the wii U pro controller.

I have seen the full list of games that require a gamepad, and i only like starfox, mario maker and paper mario. The rest of the games that require gamepad ..i don´t care

Most of the games i like can be played with WiiU Pro controller , so no big deal. But the gamepad is something required also on some hombrew apps. :(

@SylverReZ Yup. Been a longtime fan of Ween. Not a mega-fan by any means but I'm pretty familiar with most of their tunes.

I like electronics that use detachable cables, that way if the cable breaks you can just swap in a new one instead of replacing the whole unit

the L hdmi adapters work great on my tv and receiver. so much less stress on the ports using them than regular cables. in that instance anyway.

@RedColoredStars, I also listen to Beck, some of their songs are fine. Only found out about them through Windows Me; you know, that one operating system nobody ever likes?
  • RedColoredStars @ RedColoredStars:
i dont know why tv manufactures put the hdmi ports in dumb locations so the cables have to stick out, and then down, putting strain on the ports. Instead of having the ports along the bottom edge of the tv facing downwards.
