Cool story poe...

I don't see Nintendo go all in and play Sherlock on a 80 Euro/Dollar device that cost them just max 25 to 35 dollar max to produce.

This hardware is not running hot, so I do not expect it to break easily anyways. If you get nervous over the idea already... DO NOT MOD/HACK ANY SYSTEM EVER!

I softmodded my PSP's, Xbox Classic, PS3, Vita, VitaTV, Wii, WiiU and so on and never had that thought. More like a 'we will see what happens and IF it needs to go back for repair it also might just go through'. Nothing did ever break down in all these years.

It is all in the game. If you can't take the heat...

Wow okay seriously? A big difference in that whole ordeal I've done this with my Wii and PSP just fine as well but those were not hard to come by ether Nintendo already said this thing was considered a collectors and they are hard to come by all the same so how about instead of sounding like a snobby jerk think about that? there is a BIG diffrence in the risk unlike those other systems.

And yet, if you hack your console and something goes wrong, you should know the risks of what you're doing beforehand.

yeah I get that I only was wondering if because of the way it was all done if there was a way to revert it back to a complete original state as if nothing had ever happen? From the way it all sounds if you remove the custom kernel put the original kernel back have all the games deleted that you added then factory restore the system getting rid of any and everything else then it should be like it was never tampered with. I did get this answer from Cluster but I'm trying to understand why are others saying the guy who created the thing is apparently wrong? it's confusing....

With Hackchi, you're only "hiding" the games when you choose not to sync the original 21 games. I don't think they're actually deleted. Why do they think he's wrong? Simple, because a lot of people like to be armchair programmers and think they know what the deuce they're talking about. Cluster does, he's an excellent programmer, and people should just accept the fact he's right. Let the doubters doubt, it won't change what's fact.

I'll believe Cluster any day :P

I'd believe the creator as well. Tho when a few people start saying something there is always a chance for someone to over look something even the creator no one is perfect... As for the Hiding thing that wasn't quite what I meant at all I was meaning getting rid of the games that you add yourself only? Obviously keep the 21 games already in the system if you go deleting the 21 in the system obviously they would know you did something. I'm talking about complete factory restore the 21 original games are only there the original kernel is only there as how it was when it was in the box no saves or anything just exactly how it was in the box...

What kinds of things are thinking could go wrong where you'd have to ship it back to Nintendo?

to be honest I don't really know I'm just looking out for the fact that things can happen unexpectedly. Not saying this would cause problems no far from it just again things can happen in other ways the system still working but you'd rather Nintendo took a look at it just to be safe?

why would you even bother then? I mean, if something happen it's most likely software side and can be fixed by hakchi...

I updated my Cores to handle the --retroarch command, as I stated I would:) I will post them soon.

Appreciate it! Interestingly, I think I figured out what was going on in the midst of writing this reply to you. I believe I was using version .7 of the retroarch_with_cores.zip and the --retroarch flag was only added in v.8 released yesterday. That's what happens when you have to rely on Google sometimes to find what you need! :( It's quick to update, but not immediate.

Good news is that I ended up using your snes cores with your method you showed in your double-packaging video below and that works great, except no rewind feature.

Does any method of implementing retroarch preserve the rewind feature as yet?

Guys, I want to create database of non-working games to enable RetroArch automatically. Who is author of Google Spreadsheet "Super NES Classic Edition ROM Compatibility List"? I need roms or headers of those games.
Also it's good to create patch collection and bundle hakchi2 with those patches. I need your help.

Actually not working games.. could be patched with Canoe? Or this emulator cannot be improved?

Also, some games are working with some kind of workaround:
Super Street Fighter 2 USA works with a patch (An user here posted this info).
Also, Goof Troops, in the Google Spreadsheet appears as not working. But, this user in Neogaf manage to fix it:
