@KhaderWelaye
If use a random title ID it's the same for WIITITLEID & SAVEDRANDOM variables, but if I define a custom one, the WIITITLEID is still random while the SAVEDRANDOM is what I set, here is an example:
WUP-N-0678_00050000100678FF - random
WUP-N-2376_00050000100678FF - I defined 0678

Can you fix it, please?
Can you test this for me? Should be fixed, the variable for WUP-N-XXXX was getting defined too early on for WBFS and DOL files.

WiiVC Injector Script [2.2.3]

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

@FIX94 a couple questions about c2w_patcher and GetExtTypePatcher:
  • Is it possible for these programs to be run as user instead of requiring admin elevation?
  • When run from CMD or batch, can these programs be made to output results to the cmd console instead of opening a new window?
  • Can these be silently executed so that at the end of the operation, the user doesn't have to press enter to continue?
The reason I'm asking these is pretty much everything in the script is automated once the necessary information is collected, but these two programs bump up user interaction by asking them to elevate and quit the program to continue.

BUT none of these are even close to being real issues, and if it takes more than 10 seconds of work to change any of these things then really not worth making you do all that extra work.

Thanks for all you do!

Sure it does! :D the only problem? game seems to go CRAZY if you boot it with Wii Mote and Nunchuck(saying no to use the gamepad when launching the game), it presses buttons by itself and moves the stick and you cant control it, unless you unplug the nunchuck and then plug a Wii Classic Controller.... maybe @FIX94 that's something that can be fixed?

(Me Myself I prefer RE4 Wii Edition with motion controllers xD)
What about Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3? Have you tried? :o

With version 2.2.2 I am now able to create gamecube games. On a side note, the software now asks you to have bootLogoTex.tga in the SOURCE_FILES folder, just wanted to point that out.

Thanks for the amazing work!

I noticed that when I injected Zelda four swords for the gamecube, when I use the gamepad, sometimes the A and B buttons reverse themselves, as do the Y and X buttons

If you play the game with a Wii U Pro Controller you can solve the issue by turning the controller off and then on again. This happened to me a lot in different GCN titles, as well as Super Smash Bros Melee (And boy that was really annoying)

bootLogoTex is 100% optional, not required and not really recommended. Let me know if the script is stopping you from proceeding without it because that should not be the case.

@EddieEddie90 also, the Minus button on the GamePad rotates the controls. It's very likely you guys are just accidentally pressing that. If you press minus, the standard ABYX gets rotated clockwise resulting in the following:

Button -> What it does
B -> A
Y -> B
X -> Y
A -> X

If your controls got rotated just press minus again.

Don't have that game lol let me see what can I do and i'll report back

@KhaderWelaye thank you for the new v2.2.2 update but what exactly is the new option>- Made Wii Remote passthrough optional for Homebrew, be useful for?

I also don't know what that option is, and if it should be on or off by default.

Is there a way to force PAL60 in the Wii VC? I've got a PAL Wii U and the NTSC version of Super Smash Bros Brawl and whenever I launch Brawl the visuals are always messed up. I'm posting again because no one replied to my previous post.

@huma_dawii also

When you're injecting a Wii Homebrew boot.dol, you will be asked if you want to allow Wii remote passthrough. If you choose yes, you can use Wii Remotes alongside the GamePad when in GamePad mode. If you choose no, only the GamePad will be usable in GamePad mode.

Pretty much would always say yes to this option unless the -passthrough flag causes an issue with Homebrew.

Yes thanks, that would come in very handy!

Thanks, great information!

How do i access nintendont's configuration inside injected games?
There is no config information injected, all injected titles just look for the nintendont config on the SD card. You can make changes to this by launching nintendont from the homebrew channel or launching an injected title with autoboot disabled.

I am not sure if it keeps freezing at this part or just takes a long time for the process that says "Converting repacked game to NFS..."

Thanks for the amazing work KhaderWelaye!! You rock.
Do I need to redo your script process with my games and Homebrews for your new updates to be applied?

Thanks again

Yes you have to, I don't recommend anyone to do their repacking right now, until everything is not experimental anymore.. xD
