This new patch should help Sonic Colours too. Since that game needed to be resynced for gamepad to work iirc?
 
I've been out of the loop for a couple of days. Can we inject WAD files now?

Edit: Bad wording on my part. Is there any way to play WAD files through the gamepad?

It all depends on the game and all that, guess I'll give it a shot cause I still havent played 9 and 10.

Sweet. As if right now those are the only 2 that I can't play on the gamepad. The rest of them I have from Mega Man Classic Collection. Thank you for all your work btw.

both 9 and 10 work flawlessly using my latest nfs2iso2nfs with -homebrew -vertical flags and my channel booter.
 
Does anyone know why booting into Nintendont from the Wii U menu just results in a black screen? The system reboots to vWii and shows the Wii logo, but then nothing after and I Have to unplug.
The fix for this oddly is to boot into vWii and run Nintendont. Then exit vWii and return to the wii u menu. Nintendont then works from there, but on the next boot I get the same issue again. I'm using a config and Nintendont version that @pedro702 uses. But even with another config, same issue.
try updating to the latest version since fix fixed something that were breaking stuff, try 467.
 
Hey guys, for anybody who wants Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn, if you make it with the latest build of this script and tell it to emulate a vertical wiimote the game works with the gamepad. gamepad buttons A=2, B=1, Y=B, and X=A

@FIX94 is there any way to the vWii channel booter looks for emunand intead the real nand? Real nand is so freaking small :/

I know the compatibility wiki is down right now, but will it show all of these "best combos" on it or is this program going to have profiles that already kinda knows what's best for what game?
 
I noticed that when I injected Zelda four swords for the gamecube, when I use the gamepad, sometimes the A and B buttons reverse themselves, as do the Y and X buttons

The buttons in my post where telling you what buttons are from wiimote to gamepad, there is no current way to map buttons, but the game is still very playable, just remember that A is 2, B is 1, Y is B, and X is A

So this will allow for any vWii Homebrew app such as CTGPR to be injected into Wii U home menu? I’m guessing you can convert the CTGPR boot.elf to boot.dol and use that to install it.

If use a random title ID it's the same for WIITITLEID & SAVEDRANDOM variables, but if I define a custom one, the WIITITLEID is still random while the SAVEDRANDOM is what I set, here is an example:
WUP-N-0678_00050000100678FF - random
WUP-N-2376_00050000100678FF - I defined 0678

Can you fix it, please?
 
Can you do multiplayer with a game forced to recognize the gamepad like this? I can't run the script to test myself since I'm on Mac
