Easiest way to setup software on factory ;)

If they didn't have USB access, they'll need to upload data in flash memory before close the box ?
Or it might have been for firmware updates, since neither the NESC nor the SNESC can connect to the internet.

How do you got the games onto the SNES without the new Hakchi?

Magic ;)
Just joking. hakchi for NES Mini is sort of compatible with SNES Mini.
Well, at least compatible enough to get the clovershell working, and that gives us FTP and shell access. That's all I need.

yeah maybe its better to whait until Cluster released his new program :)
For sure, and now, the FEL mode is known ;)

But when NES mini was released, how they known the way to start it on FEL mode to access the kernel ;)

Magic ;)

While waiting for Hakchi2 for SNES I solved the problem of the annoying face cover... I know its locking pins will break someday so!

I inserted my 8bitdo retro receiver inside a clone of controller port 1 which is inside the console itself.

Pretty easy to do if you have a retro receiver for NES/SNES classic

see attach pictures!!

Great mod. I've heard the 8bit do pad doesn't feel as good or accurate as the real deal especially with diagnols. True?

It works great, it's a bit more responsive so you might have issues with that if you are clumsy but seriously it's as good as the real thing.

Yeah, I can confirm this. It's as good as the real thing. And I love the mod. I'll ask a friend if he's able to this. Thanks alot for the pictures!

The hardes part was figuring the order of the pins... I had inverted wires 3 and 4 because on the connector you wouldn't expect them to be in that order.

Very easy to do when you have tons of broken Wii remotes at work! Hahaha!

Interesting indeed but you need to take it apart if you need to rebind the controller which would put me off - also not sure if you could fit 2 inside for multiplayer sessions

I indicated in the tutorial image how to place them so you have access to the pair button, you could theorically place 3 inside it side by side... you only need two obviously. I only put one because I relarely use play multiplayer and also both face connectors will still work.

The SNES Classic has built-in support for gzipped ROMS. I posted about it in /r/miniSNESmods

Maybe hakchi2 could be made to gzip ROMs as it transfers them.
