Considering that we can do VC injections on the Nintendo 3DS to run games that are not on the eShop, I don't see why we can't do something similar here with Hakchi2.
The bad thing about is it still limits the number of games you can actually have on the system. Since you can't have two games with the same heading both on the console as far as I know...? Also there are a limited number of valid 'headers' that VC was designed to 'detect' and allow. For copyright/protection issue.
And not every game was 'injectable'.

Agreed, as-is, the emulator's not too shabby, what with SuperFX/SuperFX-2 (GSU-1) emulation, most games should run just fine.
As of now the only specific reason to use Retroarch is probably for the megaman X2 and X3? Because of the Cx4 chip? Any other chipsets we should be aware of?
Of course there is also possibly challenge of emulating Super 3D Noah's Ark? Bypass any copy protection assuming SNES emulator has the copy protection for unlicensed roms?
