I already had some work done to try and port NTRBoot to the ARDS and tried to contact Wolfvak to see if we could collaborate (I've got an Action Replay DS Media Edition, which normally can't be flashed via Code Manager, but figured some stuff out in order to do so) but got no replies. I'll check if I can get NTRBoot working on my ME soon.

By the way, patching the Code Manager app can be avoided. Bytes 0x04-0x05 in the firmware file contain the CRC16 Modbus of the rest of the file (starting from 0x08 until EOF), calculate that and you won't need to patch the EXE anymore (I might write a tool that calculates and fixes the CRC of these files automatically and does some other stuff, such as rebuilding a firmware file from a ROM - something important for an ARDS ME as there are no official firmwares out there - as soon as I have some time to spare).

EDIT: Confirmed working on Action Replay DS Media Edition.

Man this could have saved me $80 buying a new motherboard months ago bricking my N3DS from the old Plailect guide. Ohwell I was desperate to get it fixed.
I was fortunate to have 2 AR-DSI's laying around with the cable, but only patched the old standard black AR-DSI posted on the first page.
By the way you are gonna need to disable device signatures to get the cart to respond with the software

Is this just not working on the yellow ARDSi? I've tried repeatedly to make this work, but it just won't. My ARDSi seems to be flashing just fine, I have the correct files on my 3DS SD card, but it just boots to a black screen.

Same issues, maybe it will help to provide an actual photo rather than something stock, of a yellow ARDSi that doesn't have an SD card slot.

Yup, that's exactly the ARDSi I have, too. I got mine Christmas of 2013, I think.

This doesnt work on my Action Replay DSi. I have the ARDSi with Blue Sticker.
The Restore Firmware works, but, when i try to boot the ntrboot, black screen only, and if i put away the magnet the 3ds menu comes up.

My r4igold.cc is the same as the one in the OP but it has a little "2013" written on it. Does it make a difference?
Also, how do i check which version i'm on? Settings only say "wood r4isdhc 1.63 HW: 700"
