Not the brightest question but, if I transfer and stuff to get cfw on the vanilla 3ds after doing a ds transfer, will both 3ds's have custom firmware or just the one?

the 3DS that is the source should already have CFW, once you transfer the ds game to install b9, the target 3DS will also get CFW. So both will have CFW. Are you using the guide from 3ds.guide?

After the actual transfer step? Only the source console will have CFW. You must complete the guide, and not stop at the transfer step, so that the target console gets CFW too.

Yeah, Thank's alot, I was wondering that considering when I was reading over the method it involved system transfering.
