The best part of the whole ea switch situation iirc is that ea is going to base their future support for the switch on the sales of sports games on the switch that the majority of people don't want. I know this is a lot to ask of EA but why not make a dumbed down version of battlefront II or something else for the switch?

The closest thing you'll ever get to football on the Switch is Tecmo Bowl on the hypothetical Switch VC. Maybe.

I would've bought a Madden game used on Switch. I just bought Madden 15 for $3 to play on my brother's XBONE occasionally instead, since EA are probably going to be dicks about Switch releases.

Well if it was nfl blitz, nba jam or mlb slugfest, yeah I wouldn't mind buying it. I would even buy those river city ransom sports games.

Seriously this was one of the more popular games for people still owning a nes and some of them was never released. Maybe is a good idea for arc system works to consider either some new games for this series for the switch or some VC localization ports. Bet there is a bunch of them that could have been sold internationally but wasn't.

It is silly that the price goes down so quickly and drastically, but that's because people seem to value online play in these games more than anything. I prefer just playing local multi/against the AI.

Well, actually, FIFA is a soccer football game, not just a football game. American football is more related to rugby, as most of the time the ball is played with their hands than their feet. That's what I think, but I don't know about the history of that sport.
