I searched for this but couldn't find the answer, is there any game that is well known for not working correctly or not working at all?

Wii u modded or game modded. Loadiine, haxchi, sd card, hard drive?
What information are you wanting.
Your question is very vague

BOTW - trouble loading from SD card
NO games work from a modded Bricked Wii u

Loadiine has issues with some games. Conventionally installing games using WUP Installer has 100% compatibility in principle.

ok, you are right, let me be more specific. I had Xeno, Smash, MK8 and other games when i lived in Canada, but now I'm in europe and i don't wanna buy everything again, just buy a used euro wiiu and mod it, also, i don't care if I need to buy a ds game on eshop. My Q is, do i need to worry about any games not being playable correctly, with online and all?

If you're installing games with WUP Installer, then you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Make sure you block updates on your Wii U before you do anything else.

Thanks for clearing that up

make sure you install game from the same region than the console.
CFW let you get region free, but installing games from another region can lead to incompatibility due to missing language folder on the game version you installed.

For example, mario kart USA doesn't have all the "EUR" language folders, you'll need to edit the file content inside the console if you want to make it launch (USA/en/ -> EUR/en or EUR/dk/ etc.)
just use correct region game, so you are sure it contains the required folders.

Wii U by default, has support for JAP fonts so it's not a issue.
I haven't ran into any sort of incompatibility, not sure whatcha trying to say here.

you just didn't find incompatible games. edit: or you used Spiik homebrew apparently.

The WiiU is using tags to access folders.
For example :
game_root/<console_region>/<console_language>/menu.txt

If you are on USA, in english, it will look for /USA/en/menu.txt
if you are on USA, french (canadian), it will look for /USA/fr/menu.txt

Now, some games don't have ALL the language folder present on disc.
There's no need to have Italian or dutch language in USA disc version.

so, if you put the game in EUR wiiU, it will look for : /EUR/fr/menu.txt
of course, the "EUR" folder is absent from USA game version !
You need to rename the "USA" folder to "EUR" so the console can find the menu.txt

Some games don't have the "fr" at all, so you rename "USA/en" to "EUR/fr", it will be english but the french console will find the file it's looking for.

Of course, not ALL games are working like that. that's why you never encounter an issue playing games from another region.

You can always use Spiik to enforce game region. But I get what ya sayin'.

Fatal Frame:MBW is known to have problems if the DLC is installed from... morally questionable sources.

I didn't know there were games capable of acting differently based on the game's origin.
how could it detect it's not official ? maybe it has its own check ? the game is recent? maybe developers added a check and don't rely on the console's signature check.

edit: the game is from 2015, maybe the dlc is recent and has a check.
I don't see how officially installed titles using official files (except the ticket/signature) could influence on the game without an AP check.

or maybe some firmware patches are creating bugs, did you try "simple signature patcher?" it has only the signature patch and region free, not the other functionalities patched.
maybe it's region free which is making problem.

Yeah, that's my suspicion.

Which is strange because I have the game and dlc acuired from USB download helper and have played the game from start to finish with zero issues using mocha cfw

That is strange. From the same place and it hung up on load for me like for everyone else. Tried US and EUR regions, no dice.
