I just purchased a Wii U .. came at 5.5.2.. once I try this method and get haxchi.. after I restart my Wii U .. will haxchi remain forever ? As long as I don't update from 5.5.2?

Yes haxchi will remain as long as you don't delete it.

Yes, Haxchi will stay.

You just need access to HomeBrewLancher I believe. Once you do you should be able to follow the rest of the guide to intall Coldboot and have the Haxchi be permanent. Thats what im trying to do today at least.

Great ! I just get the "Hello, I'm a elf" message lol. However I'm a bit noob, how can I choose to launch the HLB ?
BTW from my selft hosted, it works all the time !

try to replace "boot.elf" with the HBL one? rename it to boot.elf and replace the file.
you'll see if it has all the necessary privileges and patches, and memory to load.

looks like it's loading from server instead of SD card.
