Gaming youtube is killing peoples channels

I subscribe to a channel called Be. Busta he is a horror channel he has just announced that he is quitting youtube. youtube is killing peoples channels i is just so god damn frustrating
I don't even know what to say like who is to blame here

what is going on youtube is destroying a lot of peoples lively hoods

I feel so sick cant we put our head together and say NO we will not stand for it is because of us that they are what they are

I'm gonna tell you all a story and a very personal one two years ago I was suicidal and Youtube played a big part of the healing process and I might have made it but there are some people that are still not well, and if something on youtube is part of their healing process they might not have an alternative so with youtube basically ruining peoples channels could be not helping people get better

Well it's not YouTube's fault, it's the advertisers. If you were a business, why would you put your ads on a video about death and scary spooky stories? YouTube is only sucking their dicks because else they'd be sued.

While I have absolutely no reason to doubt that, and would happily believe it even had a clinically demonstrable effect I am going to have to query whether it was youtube or the option to do something a bit more free form and creative? I have had plenty of people have life throw them a few curve balls, or just generally get down in the dumps (including in the clinical sense), and gaining the option to build, fix or do something where previously they might not have done much like that did wonders.

YouTube is only killing channels that are in it for the money. Even then, it's the advertisers pulling their ads.
If they want to make money, they can make advertiser-friendly content.
If they want to make videos for people they enjoy, they can do it in their spare time like they were doing before YouTube was netting them cash.
If they're that desperate, that can start a Patreon like everyone else, anyway.

Hmm. I don't know. It's not like you can directly blame YouTube. It may just be a personal issue or something.
