new update, seems like doesn't do much. official changelog

  • Addressed an issue in which the remaining battery charge can't be displayed accurately
    • If the system's battery power display suddenly increases or decreases, it will gradually improve by following these steps.
 
Well, it did also say this:

General system stability improvements to enhance the user's experience, including:

  • (battery display issue, whatever)

So it could still patch out some vulnerabilities.
 
The "nuclear" option: Rebuild every title, every time. Downside is this increases the download size.
This seems to have always been the way Sony and Microsoft have done it. Nintendo is learning to stop being cheap.

Iunno. I'm tempted to update and test, but I'd rather stay on 3.0.0. The JoyCon thing won't be patched because that's part of the controllers and not the system. More likely would be the browser, although I doubt they'd remove it
