Hellow, I Bought a Wii U recently and I would like some help to install haxchi, the system is on 5.5.1 and can Access to homebrew launcher, and I have the DNS to block system updates, but now with the update 5.5.2, I guess I cant access the eshop to get the VC game to install haxchi. (I haven't tried to access without the DNS)
What can I do?

Use NNU Patcher to access Eshop/Game updates. Once you run it, you'll be given temporary access even while using DNS.
And if your download gets stuck on "Pending", unplug the system while it's on and wait 10 seconds, then replug it and turn it on.

MrLuigix64 - Theres some really good guides in this forum (that have been updated since 5.5.2). I never bothered with CFW on this console since I only started putting games on USB bc I got tired of replacing the disks my kids kept breaking. (its their console).. I always used the online- hack to keep the games updated but was able to use the NNU Patcher and purchase brain age and install haxchi with no problems. Just make sure that you're installing it where you intend to. I still had the USB drive attached and installed the game to the HD on accident. (I'm assuming you could just copy/move the data through the console but.. I never bothered to look deep enough as I was trying to get things done before one of them triggered a firmware update, as dns blocking is something I didnt want to do bc of the switch etc)

the TL;DR though is.. Its really stupid easy to get it done and working (even for an old fart like me) so.. GL!

I read some guides here too, and there are people with my same problems, but never get much attetion or I cant solve my problem.
I normally read all the warnings like that of the HDD.

Now I have another problem.... I cant download Brain Age to install Haxchi... I bought the game, and then checked the Downloads and there was a system update (5.5.2), and the game just still pending, I tried resume it with the DNS Actived, Deactivated, also I blocked the nintendo update servers form my router but the game doesnt download....

EDIT:
Forget about it. I found a solution on the forums: https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutoria...es-from-eshop-while-using-nnu-patcher.477821/

Now the game downloaded and Haxchi is installed. Thanks for the help :)
