Wii U was pretty underpowered, and I agree with you, I was talking about IF it somehow magically happens, what the problems are and how we could fix them.

3DS: Probably but idk seeing as how 3DS emulation is very young.

It's more like a budget Shield tablet from what I've seen and the Shield TV can barely run Twilight Princess without slowdown so I'm a bit doubtful about that. I was tempted to list Xbox 1 X as definitely working as a joke but I decided not to lolI don't even know why you listed stuff up to 8th Gen

I wasn't saying that it WAS a Shield tablet. I was saying it was LIKE a Shield. Also, don't confuse it with the Shield portable, the one that has the clamshell design.
That is a video from 2012, Dolphin has recieved insane amounts of performance improvements since. You could probably run Galaxy 2 on that same PC 60fps on today's Dolphin.
As for emulation, based on current emulators I'd imagine Gamecube/Wii is the latest console, but many games would be slow, at the very least Melee would be fullspeed, since that game isn't super demanding for the most part, and DS the latest handheld since Drastic runs DS on hardware infinitely worse than the Switch, However, with emulators specifically designed for the Switch, built from the ground up for speed (similar to Drastic), or forks in that same vein, I could see Gamecube/Wii running many games well, and if 3DS emulators got very optimised I could see that working as well.
Will people put that much work into emulators for the Switch? Who knows, probably not. Realistically without (hijacked) official Gamecube VC or 3DS VC, expect that N64 and DS will be the newest homebrew stuff, maybe PSP too. It's very unlikely people will put that much work into emulators.
I used to have a g4560 and gt 730. Got 35-50 FPS in Super smash bros Brawl on 1080p.
