I'm currently being as patient as possible with all these SD adapters coming out. I have a 3g model so I'm just kinda seeing what comes out, I want a tested product preferably encased too.

I'm not desperate for the storage it will just be nice!

I also think once the market becomes saturated with these adapters the price will come down and the designs will be refined.

On a side note does the gameslot have decent read speeds? I assume as fast as SD/Vita card.

Yeah I saw a guy on eBay selling some but said 14 days waiting for "componants" and I'm not sure £14 is high or low really?

I'd rather order from someone who does it for the community then some shoddy chinese company that does it for the cash.

I wouldn't be surprised if the SD adapter would end up the same as the R4.
Extremely shitty build quality and prone to breakage.

It's unbelievable how badly people want to cheap out on components or adapters for their expensive game consoles/handhelds.
Shitty adapters, shitty controllers, shitty memorycards etc.

Oddly enough, it's always the pirates that whine the most.
I mean, you already get your games for free, why not spend a little bit more on quality media to ensure your free games keep on working...

3D print a case around it?
Besides, those things aren't meant to be inserted with force.
They're meant as a ZIF device (Zero Insertion Force).

The PCB already is thin and the uSD connector already is as thick as a gamecard.

I can totally agree that there is a point where they're too mass produced and end up being awful. I want the middle ground. A community started but well established adapter with some form of case would suit me fine. As I said I'm not desperate. I mainly use my Vita for emulation and psp stuff anyway so my 32gb sees me fine for now.

I'm just interested in how this whole thing develops!

Seeing you got a 3G model, I'd personally go for the PSVSD, That way you can utilize the game card slot for your games as well.
I'm pretty much forced to dump all of me games in order to use the memorycard (Sony's memorycards are shitty and like to corrupt somehow ;/)

Yeah that's why I'm waiting it out a bit too as well as I will NEVER use the 3g board anyway. You can always make dumps of your games although not ideal I suppose :D

I hear bad things about Sony 64gb cards but not heard much about the 32gb failing so hopefully it's all ok.

All these SD adapters and the looming Enso release make for an exciting scene at the moment.

64 GB does report the most corruption indeed.
I think the SD2Vita adapter won't be produced in large quantities.
Nor do I think any chinese company would produce them
Not many 3G Vitas on the market unfortunately ;/

Well, you're not the only one, I can finally retire me PSPs and move the entire collection over to the Vita.
PSP games in OLED, especially GTA VCS just have something magical on them <З

Yeah got to love the OLED. SNES and Megadrive stuff looks great on it too.

I'll try and grab an sd2vita when they're available again...

He apparently ordered a new batch of them. So maybe? I mean since all the magic is in Henkaku anyway it doesn't stop others to make their versions.
