If the swap button could just be the TV button while the app is activated no one would ever complain ;)
That's what @Maschell build does you just press the TV button to swap over also it has sound as well but it doesn't work very well with ZombiU you sort of have to keep pressing the home button and then the tv button to change the map over to get it up but it sometimes does not work very well and gets frustrating I was trying it out last night and I gave up!

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Just worked out how to switch screens in ZombiU you have to press the home button first then press tv then press home button again and the screen will swap. Only game so far that I have found that you need to do that in. Also tried it with Super Toy cars if you put the TV screen onto the pad the screen is mega zoomed in and only about 1 quarter of what should be on the screen is shown.

Edit Thomas was Alone also has the zoomed in screen issue. Which really isn't an issue as it already has off screen play anyway lol
I found that out last night but it still doesn't work very well with zombiu. I was using maschell's build and using the tv button but it does not work out you sort of have to keep pressing the home button and then the tv button to bring the map up but it doesn't always work out and gets tiresome.

Thomas was Alone and Super Toy cars probabaly use different texture format and doesn't support this primitive swapping. They may need something more advanded, I'll look into this later.

Testing this out with The Cave, it swaps the screens perfectly but still no audio from the gamepad.
Thats strange. It probably uses an other function for setting the audio. I'll check it

@zombiU. Thats also reaaallly strange. WTF?

I think you might need to work maybe on changing the button combination from TV I think the wiiu gets confused pressing the "TV" and turning the actual remote on and off within game. I'm sure you can sort it out, a man of your caliber! apart from that your version rocks :) of course I expect no less from you ;) the "TV" way is much better than the "L+Minus" way regardless! Maybe you could use just the "minus" button instead I cannot see why not?

007 Legends works perfect with SwipSwap, had problems with SwapDRC where the TV and Gamepad images swap constantly without any reason.

Just has a foot note in the case with this game you need swap screens before starting the game, during home screen, it doesn't let you hot swaping during gameplay.

I just pushed a new version where you can choose the button combo. Also fixed the ZombiU issue, now working for me.
But I was not able to resolve the "The Cave" sound issue =/

Can you check if you can swap during gameplay with the new version?

Excellent work! I will test it out later for you and let you know thanks.

Edit: I'm not sure tbh why you didn't just release this homebrew app yourself Maschell?, it seems you put virtually all the work in anyway?

Does this issue occur in our version? It sounds like you are talking about Maschell's own swapping homebrew, and we would rather focus on issues

We should really consider merging these two applications or switching completely over to one code base. It makes no sense to maintain two 'competitors' that do the same thing. The last few posts have nothing to do with SwapDRC but rather with SwipSwapMe as well, which is slightly annoying.

Who can say me why press B is needed to swap in splatoon ? I don't understand why not press L+Minus

The thought process going into Splatoon-enhanced swapping is that we should emulate what Nintendo does in Splatoon 2. In my experience, B during gameplay allows you to keep moving during battle (albeit blindly) since your hand does not leave the L-stick, and it is faster to press than L+MINUS in emergency situations.

Believe it or not, I find this helps with breath of the wild. Normally on gamepad view if you tap anywhere on the screen it'll switch back to tv view, but since this is tv view you have to tap in a square region on the screen which you'll almost never hit on accident.

- Great Job, thanks for everyone, OatmealDome, Yahya14, Maschell and others. We waited for this long time on the Wii U, this is essential app for Wii U and our children. We tested SwapDRC and SwipSwapME, both works well with the Lego City Undercover. There is no issue at all in the Lego City Undercover and the bonus, audio swap works great in SwipSwapME. We'd like the idea to switch only by TV button. Thanks everyone, great job, Nintendo should put officially this essential feature in the Wii U -

Is it possible to have a fix for Zelda WWHD?
I want to play with headphones plugged into GamePad but with screen on TV.
But when I push MINUS in the game, the screen swap to TV and I have no more sound.

EDIT: ignore this message!
Its ok its working :)
