Is there a list of games that Benefit from this outside of splatoon?

Taiko - at least the first game you can only use headphone output if you use the gamepad display. With this you can use it and play on the TV too.

Okay, I found a fix, it's working now.

I don't like the idea of having a app which combines everything (I mean hardcoded). This way, we end in multiple different app per game.. But currently we have no other choice.
Maybe I've time to integrate my audio swapping into this repo here, but at need to update their stuff, it's kinda outdated.

I talked with Yahya and they had a discussion with Maschell today. The current plan is that Yahya will integrate his code into ours and will release soon.

My friend says that using TCPGecko online was a way to get banned. Would that be the case while using this app since it uses TCPGecko? I know you aren't Nintendo but perhaps there's an explanation that this is different since it's not cheating or alternating anything in-game.

You will only be banned if you use any scripts with TCPGecko that have the potential to ban. TCPGecko does not ban by itself.

I enjoy the Splatoon enhancements also, but I did find the "Press B to switch screens" annoying since the screen would change while I am interacting with the characters in the plaza or exiting from the sunken scrolls window in single player.

Thank you for the report. We mainly tested Splatoon's enhanced swapping in multiplayer, and not as much in the Plaza or Hero Mode. An update might come to fix this in the future.

and what is with beacons is it possible to use them in the future?

It should be possible to use beacons by swapping to the GamePad screen and touching the beacon like normal.

Hi. Currently.... Under requirements, it says:

• A Wii U (on firmware version 5.1.1; 5.5.2 and lower versions aren't tested but may work)

Should that say 5.5.1? Not trying to nitpick.

The only other one I can think of is

The Cave

On a side note this does not work too well with Game And Wario due to the L and minus button being used in the game to exit out of the mini games so you can't use this app to switch screens in game.

Testing this out with The Cave, it swaps the screens perfectly but still no audio from the gamepad.

Yes i just tried the cave but same as you no audio I then tried Tokyo Mirage and that worked perfectly with sound. Strange how it does not work for some games.

(Edit) ZombiU also works but you can't switch screens in game so no way of using the inventory .

Yahya is planning on merging Maschell's code in with drcswap, so he'll probably look into that when he gets around to it. Some games handle sound differently than others.

Just worked out how to switch screens in ZombiU you have to press the home button first then press tv then press home button again and the screen will swap. Only game so far that I have found that you need to do that in. Also tried it with Super Toy cars if you put the TV screen onto the pad the screen is mega zoomed in and only about 1 quarter of what should be on the screen is shown.

Edit Thomas was Alone also has the zoomed in screen issue. Which really isn't an issue as it already has off screen play anyway lol

Help please,
whenever I try to install with either method from the app, my wii u shows the home menu loading screen for a second, then everything goes black. Possible fixes? I'm desperate to play some splatoon as I am out of a TV. Thanks

If the swap button could just be the TV button while the app is activated no one would ever complain
