I put a :( next to all the recently patched things

nice job nintendo patching one thing.

Exploits:

All the IOSU stuff: Works
Kernel Stuff: Works (not with browser, that's broken)

Entrypoints:

Browser Exploit: Patched :(
Haxchi: Works
CBHC: Works (requires haxchi to setup now, no browser stuff)

Safe to update if you have cbhc or haxchi setup.

So we just wait for them to find another entry point, Nintendo's too apathetic to be bothered to patch all possible exploits. Personally I found the web exploit to be too unreliable; my WiFi sucks so getting a DS game and exploiting that is far more stable.

As long as you have the blocking enabled and haven't updated you will be able to install the all glorious HaxChi

Which I have, I haven't used the web exploit in several months because of it. DNS blocking should work fine, but again, assuming there are interested people, there will be another exploit to use, but who knows. We may have another PS3 situation on our hands.
we don't have a entrypoint, impossible until public release.

Which will happen at some point, interested people pending.

We've been advising people for months to protect against an update. I wouldn't count on an exploit for a long while. I just hope that at least some people listened to us.

If you have CBCH/Haxchi installed, however, IOSU isn't affected as stated by Fix94 on the last page AFAIK.

That's what I'm saying. I fear for those that never installed HaxChi and didn't block updates or didn't get a nand backup.

There are a lot of piss poor guides on the interwebs that skip very important steps

no you're not, just don't update.

It's the 3DS update scare all over, people act as though they're forced to update. Newsflash: They're not, I know, quite the plot twist.

At the very least, maybe a firmware spoof can be released and installed to trick the Wii U into being 5.5.2. Who knows for sure.

Nintendo flipped us off, it's time to return the favor.
