Hardware Connecting Joycon's to PC Tutorial (With Analog Support!)

i cant get 2 joycons to connect at the same time
one disconnects and the other stays on

So I 1.install vjoy, 2. setup vjoy 1 and 2, 3. pair and connect my controllers, 4.run custom.bat(tried combine.bat too) 5.setup XOutput
Now after step 4, even though it says my two controllers paired successfully and the lights stop flashing, monitor vjoy doesnt detect a single output from vjoy 1 or 2. Any help?

See what I said to SparkSwordKirby, that sounds like a bluetooth issue and you'll probably need a new bluetooth dongle, they're cheap though, ~$10.

Hm, very strange, out of curiosity, does joy.cpl work? (search for it in the start menu, or type it into run). If it doesn't, then perhaps vJoy is messed up, what version of vJoy do you have? And what does the console for the Joycon driver say?

Go for anything that's longer/bigger, as it'll have better range, and try for something that seems new. I wouldn't go lower than bluetooth 4.0 support, not sure if it matters, not really an expert on bluetooth dongles. Also I wouldn't go below $10 as then you'd make the quality come into question. I recommend you buy a USB Male to Female with it, to keep it away from the interference your computer causes. Get a long Male to Female cord though, you want the dongle at least a ruler (30cm) away from the computer. This may not matter for a laptop, as I use the internal one in mine and it works fine, but for a desktop it does.

I am having this same issue. When trying joy.cpl, both Wireless Gamepad and vJoy Device show up twice. However, button presses are only detected in the Wireless Gamepad options (one for each joy-con), but vJoy Devices do not respond to any button press. There is also no button press detected with Monitor vJoy.

Wireless Gamepad is the Nintendo drivers, if you see the inputs there and not in vJoy, that means it's Joycon-Driver related. The only solutions I can think of are restarting your computer (if you haven't already tried that, you'd be surprised) and reinstalling vJoy.

Edit: Couldn't hurt to redownload the driver as well.

Having the same problem of lag on joycon (I know buy the 10$ dongle) however I'm also getting an issue were the controllers de-combine after a few minutes, one returns to the Nintendo driver while the other stays in vjoy.

It's currently impossible to remove the Nintendo drivers, no matter what you'll see inputs from each Joycon in the Nintendo driver. That isn't decombining, it sounds more like one Joycon is disconnecting and since the driver has no code to hotplug Joycons, that Joycon will just never get reconnected. You'll probably fix both issues with a new Bluetooth dongle.

Honestly, I'm not seeing anything weird, the only difference from the looks of it is that you're on Windows 8, but that shouldn't matter, as far as I know. I've never tried it on 8 though, so that very well could be the cause. The only thing I haven't seen at this point is your console output, however there is also one other thing. Are you using the Toshiba stack by any chance? The driver doesn't seem to work with it, through the testing I did like a minute ago. If you do, try switching to the Windows stack, if not/that doesn't change anything, send console output.

So I discovered this new thing, if I used combine.bat monitor vjoy doesnt detect a thing, but if I use custom.bat, monitor vjoy shows only the inputs of the L-Joycon(maybe the first one connected, not sure) with very big input lag and doesnt show the R-Joycon inputs at all, This is a screenshot of custom.bat
