Homebrew Official WupInstaller y Mod - with multiple install folders

Ok so I have a microsd adapter, and a Samsung evo 64gb microsd. The adapter makes into a full sd card. So the thing is the wiiu can read the sd card when formated as fat32 (proven by smash being able to read it) BUT if I put files into a install folder. Wup installer will read the folder and detect it/ But then it will claim its not dlc, game or update. Which if I try with a sd card that is 4 times smaller, (16gb) It will read it just fine! Somebody help, or is there a fix for this? It happens on both wupinstallers (y mod and gx2 installable channel)

Hi!

I have a problem installing big games to the USB-Storage. I get the Message:

Install of title 00000000-00000000 failed.
install/GAME NAME
Error: MCP_InstallGetInfo 0xFFFBF3E2
Confirm complete WUP files are in the folder. Try power down.

Any idea?

You could have a bad WUP. Make sure the whole thing transferred over. Try deleting the WUP you're trying to install and re-copy it over. If that fails, delete it off our PC and download it again.

So I installed Kirby's Adventure with Wii U USB Helper (the Wii EUR version of Return to Dream Land, not the NES game) and copied it to SD card, and am trying to install it on Wii U with WUP Installer, but whenever I install it to either NAND or USB, it just says 'Confirm complete WUP files are in folder'. I read something on here about special characters so I removed the apostrophe, but still the same error comes up.

Still looking for an answer to this. I know the method I'm using works, because I used the Wii U USB Helper to install SM3DW to NAND, but it still says the same thing with Kirby's Adventure as above.

Make sure your folder structure is like this:
SD:/install/SM3DW/[all your .app and .h3 files and whatnot]. If you happen to have your .app and .h3 files in another folder inside your SM3DW folder, it won't work. Also, make sure everything transferred.

Maybe you need to be running a CFW? Since you have 5.5.2 (and presumably not Haxchi or CBHC) you probably have to wait for a new browser exploit. Even if you could install the Homebrew Launcher, you won't be able to launch it without running CFW (HBL isn't a legit title, signature checks won't let it through), so it's pretty much pointless installing it without access to CFW.

I do have haxchi, but when i start my wii, i open the haxchi channel.
Then i press the corresponding button (in my case 'a'. It launches homebrew launcher. Then i can open anything i want. But i cant install anything without getting that error.

You have to start Haxchi twice. The first time, you want to run Haxchi's sysmenu option to activate the signature patching. (You might have that set as default, so try not pressing anything when you start Haxchi.) After you're back at the Wii U menu, you run Haxchi again and press 'A' to start Homebrew Launcher.

I have an odd issue with this app. I load Haxchi first (CFW, holding B), then I load CFW and HBL, then Wupinstaller Y Mod. Well, it shows a white screen with the loading music. I tried to load HBL without Haxchi and got a system menu error. Why is the app just hanging and refusing to load? What the hell? It used to work before. Unless I have to go back to the ELF version of HBL instead of the RPX version or what?

If this is gonna give me this much trouble, I may as well just update to 5.5.2.

Edit: Am I doing something wrong? Again, I load Haxchi, hold B for CFW, and from there I load the HBL channel. Once I open that, I open Wup Y Mod and it just hangs there, loading with the Wii U menu logo, but it never goes to the app itself. What gives? Am I suppose to load the webkit exploit instead and then the app or what?

Edit 2: Well, since I see nothing regarding this issue, I may as well update to 5.5.2.

Try some of the basic things first before you have a tantrum here & threaten to update to 5.5.2 (<lol... No one gives a flying **** whether you do or not... So...)

Try another SD with wup installer & the files you want to install & see if it works, Try deleting wup installer & download fresh from here & see if it just works... Try using Mocha CFW to install & see if it works.... Try wup installer GX & see if that way works for you.. Try & narrow it down yourself & see if you can find out why this is happening ;)

That's just it though, I've installed numerous updates and USB games with this very SD card, using the set up I have now. I don't have Mocha on my SD cards either, I've always used Haxchi + CFW (the holding B button method when loading Haxchi). Then I proceed to load the installed HBL channel with with sigpatches enabeled. I suppose I can try my other 16 GB SD card to see. It's just baffling that it didn't return an error, just an infinite loading screen. I'll try that after I try WUP installer GX2. What does the Install folder need to be?

SD:/Install with all the update files?
SD:/Install/game 1 update/all update files?

What brand of SD card should I get if it is the cause? I mean, if it were corrupted surely nothing would load, I assume.

Edit: Using the GX2 version loaded this time. I think the WUP Y Mod folder was simply corrupted. Well I'm an idiot.

Same as wup installer.

Ok when i start haxchi for the first time (Not pressing any button ,and have the default to: sysmenu (Even tried to mocha.elf)
It auto boots up rednand (So i cant acces haxchi anymore....)
What am i doing wrong? (Sorry for the stupid questions, just trying to understand what i am doing wrong here :( )

edit:
Ok i setted it up so it boots to mocha
But as soon as mocha boots up it just freezes up (Have to shut down the wii to gain control of it again)
Any suggestion :( ?

What am i doing wrong?
Set default=sysmenu and a=wiiu/apps/homebrew_launcher/homebrew_launcher.elf in sd:/haxchi/config.txt
Rerun haxchi installer so those changes take effect
Restart the WiiU
Run haxchi
Don't press anything
Do you get back to the WiiU Menu?

If you get back to the WiiU Menu, run haxchi again and start homebrew launcher using 'A', then try your install.
