Hacking Updating my N3DS XL - Luma3DS

Hey guys,

so i have followed all the steps from 3ds.guide and am happily playing since a couple weeks.
Now i have the question, what do i exactly update, or in which order ?
Do i only update with the luma3ds updater? Do i update b9strap? Or do the regular system update?

I'm kinda lost, since i haven't found anything useful and on the 3ds.guide website, it only shows me the tutorial on how to install theses things?

You missed the 3ds forum there buddy. This is the switch forum.
What are you trying to update? If you just want to update the system firmware you would do that.
If you followed the guide just a couple week ago you shouldn't need to update anything else (Luma3ds, boot9strap), so I'm assuming you mean firmware.
And to do that you just go to system settings>other settings>System Update

Oh i really thought i clicked on the 3DS one.. My bad, i'm dumb :'D
No not the firmware, i've read that this can be safely done.
But i'm wondering if i wanted to update, pretty much anything that needs to be updated, so i know i won't f*** up in the future?
Let's say only Luma3DS needs to be updated, i just go and open the updater and update it.
If only the firmware needs to be updated, i do just that.
But what if b9s needs to be updated? I didn't think i read that in the guide if i'm honest..
Or if all 3 had to be updated or only Luma and the Firmware, do i need to be cautious about what to update first or do it just how i prefer?
