Hacking [Help] 2017 R4 Gold Pro

My R4 finally came in today and I'm excited to have my hands on it!

I have gotten the firmware/kernel files from it's respective site and dragged all 4 files onto the root of my SDCard but every time I load up the R4, it just hands on the "Loading..." screen and has a weird graphic on the top of the screen.

If the card itself has a date on it, you might be looking to upgrade again in about a year... If you get it working, i think the code checks the date and basically tells it to stop running after a certain time.

Try to roll back the date to 2016

I mean I dont have to, I have real flash carts lol but yeah the OP might have to do that. Do you know if you installed the DS flashcart whitelist, OP?

Nope, I have never installed the whitelist.

Problem was fixed; just re-downloaded the files and it magically worked.
