i did the game inject, did the system transfer, now both SD cards have not been moved. on my new TARGET 3DS it now rebooted and wants to move the dsiware from micro SD card (i assume from the source), do i pop it out and put it into the target now and hit move? its only move/cancel

https://3ds.guide/installing-boot9strap-(dsiware-game-injection)

I dont have the 3 options the guide says

You do not need to remove the SD cards at all during the transfer. There is nothing from the source 3ds that needs to be on the target 3ds except for the dsi game.

I mean, you can move it, there is no harm in that as long as you made backups before hand like the guide says to. If you have the backups, go ahead and transfer the sd card as well

No, you're supposed to move the source SD to the target console, once the transfer is finished and it tells you to. It says so on the instructions given to you by the console. How else is the DSiWare game going to be moved to the target console?? I have done a dozen transfers involving DSiWare and that's how it works.
Edit: he is on the part of the transfer I am thinking of right? Where it is finished and the target console has rebooted?

I dont have the 3 options the guide says
Not all of those options apply - the wireless transfer only appears if you are transferring old 3DS to new 3DS (because the old 3DS might be using a big SD card so you might not be able to move it over).

hey i was on those steps as well. and i chose to use the pc to transfer the files.. but when i go into the files and transfer it to the new microsdcard. the new 3ds shows that there is no dsiware on the sd.
yes when it asked if i should move the dsiware to the sd, i did move it and it showed it went through, yet i get nothing. i cant finish the transfer without moving the dsiware to the target new3ds which i apparently dont have... acording to the 3ds. yes i did buy the game

if there any way i can get some help on this? if not ill have to wait 7 days

Yeah just restore the NAND backup on the source console, then move DSiWare to SD card on the source and move DSiWare from SD to NAND on the target. There is a troubleshooting section for this.
Edit: or at least there used to be. Not sure where the options to move DSiWare are, I think in System Settings -> Data Management -> DSiWare. I don't have a 3DS in front of me to check.

okay so i just have to move the dsiware from the source to the sdcard that the new3ds has and then install it from there ?

Yes as long as you restored the pre-transfer NAND backup on the source. The DSiWare thinks the two consoles are the same one which is why this works.

lets hope it still works. i didnt nand after the injection.
so i did the injections steps over again. and now transferring the file to the target sd card.
hopefully it still works that way.

EDIT: IT WORKED!!! THANKS!!
